It is the dawn of another new day. A new Star Fragment, similar to the one that created the original Pegasus and L-Drago, has entered the Earth's atmosphere. Yuki, a young astronomer and a Blader, is keen to see the mysteries behind the Star Fragment and unlock its secrets. Before the Star Fragment collides with the earth it explodes and sends beams of light across the world. Yuki and his Beyblade, Mercury Anubius, are hit by one of the beams of light and sent flying. After getting up, Yuki notices his Bey is shining and begins some research. However, there are some that have the same views but for a different purpose, Pluto and his apprentice, Johannes. Elsewhere, Madoka is fixing Gingka's Galaxy Pegasus which was badly damaged during the battle against the Spiral Core. All of a sudden, a beam of light similar to the one that hit Yuki's Bey hits Pegasus. The results are the same with Pegasus shining. The next day, Gingka and Kenta are at a local Beyblade tournament. With Kenta continuously defeating his opponents, Gingka bursts out cheering, despite the fact it is against the rules as he is commentating on the matches. Several rule violations later, Kenta is announced the winner of the tournament and is given a trophy. Upon reaching the B-Pit, Gingka lets loose with excitement when he sees his newly fixed Bey and thanks Madoka, who was sleeping. Upon awaking, Madoka tries to explain what happened the night before but Gingka and Kenta run out, already deciding to have a battle. While outside Gingka notices an arrow flying at Madoka and almost hits her. The arrow contains a challenge note from an anonymous person. Gingka quickly accepts despite not knowing who the challenger is. Gingka and his friends arrive at a beach only to be greeted by Kyoya and Benkei who are on a boat in the beach's ocean. Before long, a battle breaks out between Gingka and Kyoya who wish to settle the score once and for all. Rock Leone appears to be stronger than ever and ends up throwing boulders at Galaxy Pegasus. Back on the island, Gingka and Kyoya are stopped by a mud hole in which Leone has gotten stuck in. Pegasus attempts to use Star Booster Attack on it only to be stopped by Leone's Lion Gale Force Wall. In a huge explosion, Pegasus and Leone evolve into Cosmic Pegasus and Fang Leone much to their owners’ surprise. The Beys seem to have hidden potential and Madoka cannot find any data on either Beyblade. Pegasus is soon pushed into a corner by Leone and is about to lose all its remaining rotations, however, Pegasus’ Performance Tip changes and both Beys soon begin their full power attacking spree again. Both Gingka and Kyoya appear to be shocked and the two Beys cause another massive explosion. Kenta, Madoka, and Benkei cover their eyes and when they open them they are shocked to see Gingka and Kyoya knocked to the ground while their Beyblades keep spinning. Meanwhile, Yuki is rushing to board a ship to find someone. However, Johannes is spying on him without Yuki noticing, with the company of a cat.

Yuki had just arrived to his destination by plane to study the Star Fragment. However, he is stopped by none other than Johannes. Johannes challenges him to a battle and they proceed. Yuki's Anubius fights against Johannes's Beat Lynx. Anubius gets overpowered by Beat Lynx and Yuki and Anubius flee from Johannes but Johannes follows them. Elsewhere, Gingka and friends are having some practice battles. Gingka battles against Kenta while Benkei battles against Kyoya. Gingka and Kenta have a strong battle and Gingka defeats Kenta with his special move Final Drive, while Kyoya beats Benkei. Benkei then has a flashback to when they battle and he lost and he and Kyoya witnessed the Star Fragment fly pass them. Madoka and Hikaru watch as they battle. Madoka states that she has found out via her computer that Fang Leone is able to have a mode-change by simply flipping the Metal Frame turning it into 'Counter-Mode'. The same is with Cosmic Pegasus, it enables a mode change by turning the PC Frame left. Madoka and Hikaru tell this to Kyoya while he battles. Kyoya tells them that he has no care of this mode-change and knows he can battle just fine normally. He storms off while Benkei follows him. Yuki rushes to escape from Johannes but fails. Kyoya finds them and Yuki begs Kyoya to help him. Kyoya declines, he tells Yuki he needs to fight his own battles and learn some new skills and leaves Yuki for bait. However, Gingka launches Pegasus at Beat Lynx, saving Yuki. Yuki notices that Gingka holds a Bey with the power of the Star Fragment. Johannes then retreats. Yuki thanks them for saving himself but collapses to the ground. Gingka and friends pick him up and get him help. Yuki arrives safely onto a hospital bed and feels relieved. Meanwhile, Hikaru talks to Ryo about the Beyblade's power. Ryo knows they contain power of the Star Fragment and in the wrong hands it will be dangerous. Yuki explains to them why Johannes was chasing him. Yuki tells that when he was younger, his grandfather told him of the Star Fragment. This Star Fragment was said to have created the original Pegasus and L-Drago. Yuki, being an astronomer, aspired to study about this. So, one day when he was doing some research, Yuki witnessed the Star Fragment first hand. It exploded and let out eleven beams of light. One beam of it crashed into his Bey, Anubis and gave Anubis the power of the Star Fragment. Yuki then tells them a being called 'Nemesis' is plotting to use the unknown power of the Star Fragment in order to control the world along with the 'Black Sun'. Yuki says that they have to stop Nemesis or else, the whole world will be doomed. There are also these mystical Bladers called the 'Legendary Bladers' who have the power of the Star Fragment inside their Beyblades and are able to stop Nemesis. Gingka and Kyoya are two of them however there are eight more Legendary Bladers. Gingka and his friends are intrigued at Yuki's story and Gingka vows to stop Nemesis. Gingka then holds Pegasus and decides to name it Cosmic Pegasus. Kenta and the rest agree too. Yuki is relieved by this and is glad that he has a friend in Gingka and finally Gingka and Co.'s quest to stop Nemesis begins. Yuki tells them that most of the Legendary Bladers are unknown, however Gingka and co decide to find them, Meanwhile, Johannes sitting on a building petting cats, watches them and will do anything to stop their quest.

Gingka and co chat to their old friends Masamune and Team Wang Hu Zhong via webcam. They ask if they have heard anything about the Legendary Bladers or whether any of their Beyblades had evolved. Unfortunately, they do not know what they are talking about and are confused. Masamune shows Gingka his Ray Striker as nothing has made it different. They ask why they need to know this and Gingka tells them that his Pegasus evolved into Cosmic Pegasus. They are amazed at this as he tells them Pegasus has a piece of the Star Fragment inside of it. Masamune states that he will try to become a Legendary Blader just like Gingka. They say their final words and end the webchat. Gingka is disappointed that he still does not have any information on the Legendary Bladers. Gingka then decides to start their quest to find the Legendary Bladers. Kenta and Madoka agree and they run off to prepare for the trip. Meanwhile, Yuki and Ryo have a little chat. Yuki thanks him for their co-operation in their quest and goes off to prepare as he found out that a Star Fragment Beam hit the island of Indonesia. Ryo then has a chat with Tsubasa. Ryo tells Tsubasa to secretly find information on the Legendary Bladers and he accepts. Later, the gang are ready for their quest to begin. Yuki joins them and tells them that he has second thoughts on Kyoya. He has a flashback of when Kyoya did not help him when he was attacked by Johannes. Gingka responds by saying they'll knock some sense into him. Kenta then tells Gingka that he wants to become a Legendary Blader himself just like Gingka. Gingka appreciates his determination and hopes for the best. The gang start to walk on their quest as five cats watch them. The gang then get blocked by what appears to be many other cats, signaling Johannes to appear. Johannes won't let the gang pass and challenges Gingka to a battle. Gingka gladly accepts but Yuki decides to battle him instead. Gingka tells him to let him do it and he doesn't want Yuki to get hurt. Gingka launches his Cosmic Pegasus as Johannes launches his Beat Lynx. Pegasus gets a good start as it knocks Beat Lynx into the air. The Beys run in the battle as their owners follow them. Pegasus gets a few more hits and it seems as if Beat Lynx will lose. However, Beat Lynx dodges one of Pegasus' attacks. It then changes into a different height making it harder for Pegasus to get a shot. Madoka reads this on her computer and does not know how that is possible. However, at the last minute, Kyoya reveals himself and launches his Fang Leone at Beat Lynx. Leone does even more damage and defeats Beat Lynx. Johannes takes Lynx and escapes. Gingka and Co thank Kyoya for helping them and are grateful. Kyoya tells them that he will join their quest to find the Legendary Bladers. The gang are excited at this and thank him. Gingka and co are riding a ship to their first destination, Zarkan Island, in Indonesia. As they step onto the island, they meet a villager. The villager tells them that because of recent volcanic activity, it is highly possibly that a volcano will erupt. At that moment, they hear the ground rumbling and shaking. The gang take precaution as they continue their search. They find a village and hope that they can get some help. However, the villagers see they own Beyblades. They escape into their homes in fear. Gingka and Co. don't know what's going on as the villagers proceed to pelt them by throwing various items. Kyoya decides he will find his own route to the Star Fragment and leaves with Benkei. As the gang try to find a Star Fragment light beam, they find a little girl playing with her Beyblade. She attempts to knock over a soda can with her Bey but fails. The gang introduce themselves to the girl and she says her name as Sarah. Madoka sees her Beyblade but sees it is not strong enough. So she opens her suitcase and replaces the Spin Track and Performance Tip with 'more suitable' ones. The blader says that he will test whether this 'dragon emperor' really exists, and said that the true dragon is in front of them. The blader created an explosion, and went up the volcano. One night, a light fell from the sky into the volcano. Gingka and the others wondered if it could be.. Ryuga and Kyoya continue their battle from the previous episode. L-Drago is taking all of Leone's hits without any effect which shocks Kyoya and the others. Soon enough, Kyoya proves to be too weak to defeat Ryuga and loses. Benkei tries to help Kyoya by comforting him while Gingka turns angry at Ryuga. Yuki then explains to Ryuga the story of The Star Fragment, the Legendary Bladers, and Nemesis. Ryuga doesn't believe this story and rejects the offer to help them in their quest. Gingka, turning furious by this, attempts to force him to cooperate by battling him with his new Cosmic Pegasus. Ryuga notices the new Pegasus, but does not think it will do much effort to his L-Drago. The battle begins in a clash of the Beys. L-Drago Destructor occurs a 'mode-change' and behaves in a different manner, beating Pegasus more efficiently. Gingka tries to ignore the change and fight but, he again is defeated like Kyoya; Gingka towers to the floor defeated. Ryuga has defeated two Legendary Bladers effortlessly and prepares to turn back and leave but Yuki stops him. He tells him he wants a chance to battle him and help in their quest. Ryuga questions at how Yuki can beat him, but as Yuki launches his Bey, Ryuga does the same. The Beys fight as Yuki tries to win against Ryuga. After many hits, Yuki turns angry and soon enough, he begins glowing with a blue light, indicating that Yuki is indeed a Legendary Blader. Unleashing his Legendary Power, his encouragement attacks with such force against L-Drago Destructor. Despite this, Yuki is again defeated by Ryuga. Nevertheless, Gingka and Co. comfort him. Ryuga believed the story after seeing Anubius change, but said that to increase his power, he will get all the star fragments into his possession, and leaves laughing.

It knocks out the two Bladers in a crimson red hue and returns to its owner. Chao finds a group of mysterious Bladers, all wearing robes. They have small grins on their faces and leave, prompting Chao to question what is going on. Meanwhile, Gingka and co are traveling on a quest to China. As they arrive, they have a reunion with Team Wang Hu Zhong, Dashan Wang, Mei-Mei and Chi-yun Li, however Chao is not there at the moment. The team are amazed as the Bey while Kyoya does not think it is that impressive. Gingka and co see how after the tournament, Big Bang Bladers, Team Wang Hu Zhong have started to train monks in learning how to fight. Dashan then tells them that the anonymous Blader might be participating in a tag-tournament just a few days away, called the 'Gateway to Success'. Gingka is very excited, and show them his Pegasus. Dashan and the others are stunned, but Kyoya is not, and left with Benkei to practise for the competition. Gingka decides to have a little training as he launches Pegasus. Pegasus knocks out practice targets and finishes off in a success. Yuki decides to go out and try it with his Anubius but fails as he misses one target. He tries again but fails. Chi-yun said that he expected more from a Legendary Blader, but Dashan noticed that all the targets hit by Yuki was hit at the bullseye. Gingka and co congratulate him despite his failure. Later everyone has dinner as they have a chat and Yuki explain that his frequent uses of a telescope helped him hit the targets accurately. Chi-yun says that he can also do this and leaves. Dashan follows him and asks what's wrong. Chi-yun tells him that if someone as pathetic as Yuki can be a Legendary Blader then why can't he be one too. Dashan tells him not to mind this and he is a natural. However, an explosion occurs nearby with everyone heading there. As they arrive they find none other than Johannes. Johannes is searching for the Legendary Blader, and told them to hand him over. Gingka and the others identified him as a 'cat wierdo', and Johannes told him his name. Then Gingka and Johannes had a squabble about whether the Legendary Blader is here, who is attacking the expelled Beylin Bladers, and who is the Legendary Blader. Johannes is disappointed and left, but Dashan challenged him. They battle in one of Dashan's homemade BeyStadiums. They both let it rip as their Beys fight each other. Dashan's Rock Zurafa against Johannes' Beat Lynx. Johannes beats down Rock Zurafa by launching it into the air. Da Shan uses his inner strength to fight back but this is not good as Beat Lynx is still spinning. Johannes gets tired and summons his Lynx back, forfeiting the battle as he can't sense the star fragment inside his bey. The rest of Team Wang Hu Zhong prepare to launch their Beys at Johannes but he leaves them. Chao returns to tell them of what he has seen. Gingka and co are on a boat tour with Team Wang Hu Zhong. They explain that their destination is a hidden arena floating on a river where a tag-tournament is taking place. A blimp overhead appears and the Chinese DJ announces that the “Gateway to Success” Tag battle will soon begin. Fans begin cheering as the gang approaches. Chi-yun Li explains that Gingka and Kyoya have already been entered in the competition much to their surprise. Gingka quickly, excited for the competition, selects Yuki as his partner leaving Kyoya to battle with Benkei. Yuki states that he is honoured that Gingka picked him and says that he will not let him down. Mei Mei and Chao Xin reply to these stating that they are entering as a tag-team and Dashan Wang and Chi-yun Li will be entering as a team too. Chao Xin then appeals to his fangirls with a wave causing much screaming and also causing Mei-Mei to sigh. An extra boat appears containing more contestants including Bao, Aguma and Johannes. Kyoya walks up to Yuki and tells him not to let Gingka lose because that's his job, intimidating Yuki slightly. The camera then cuts to Johannes and his younger sister Motti, who, like Johannes, has an attitude like a cat. The Chinese DJ then announces that the tournament’s first match is starting. This match is won quickly by Dashan Wang and Chi-yun Li. The next match is once again quickly won by Benkei and Kyoya with a single hit from Dark Bull's Red Horn Uppercut. The third match features Johannes and Motti facing two confident karate black belts. These two intimidate Motti to which Johannes triggers the battle. The teams launch their Beys and Johannes immediately warns Motti to back away while he delivers the first blow. Lynx changes its height to 220 to evade the invading Beys. Lynx then changes to Assault Mode and smashes the enemy Beys out of the stadium, winning the match. The next match is revealed to be Gingka and Yuki versus Mei Mei and Chao Xin. This shocks both pairs and they prepare for battle. Yuki enters the arena but gets booed instantly. Gingka simply says to ignore it. They all launch their Beys but Yuki misfires and launches at the sky. Anubius lands safely but is soon launched back into the sky alongside Pegasus. Yuki apologises and decides to go in for the kill. Yuki's plan backfires when Chao Xin's Bey halts to a stop and sends Anubius flying for the third time. Gingka instructs Pegasus to attack both enemy beys at once much to their surprise. Both Beys counter attack with their special moves sending Pegasus backwards. Yuki then decides to go for another strike but ends up having it dodged and hitting Pegasus instead, sending it flying into the sky but just barely landing inside the stadium. Yuki becomes scared to make a move and it worsens when he remembers Kyoya's words from earlier. Gingka defends Yuki and orders Pegasus to switch to Upper Mode. This backfires yet again with Mei Mei cutting holes into the stadium causing water to flow through, slowing Pegasus and allowing for both beys to shunt Pegasus to the edge of the stadium. Gingka reminds Yuki of the time he battled Ryuga, giving Yuki strength to help Pegasus and use a special move. Pegasus uses Final Drive to hit Anubius, supplying it with power to use Brave Impact. This eliminates both enemy Beys giving Gingka and Yuki the win. Aguma and Bao seem impressed by the demonstration of power and say they are “Looking forward to battling them”.

In the first two battles of the second round of the Gateway to Success, Gingka and Yuki and Dashan and Chi-yun easily defeat their opponents. In the third battle of the second round, Kyoya and Benkei face off against Johannes and Motti. Johannes has been a nuisance to Gingka and co in the past, however upon learning that Johannes may be a Legendary Blader, Kyoya goes all out against him on his own to see if he truly is one. Benkei then sees that Motti isn't interested in the battle at all and goes to attack but she pleads with him to stop, which he does as Benkei once saw a stray cat before. He then gets angry because he realises he was tricked after Motti attacks him. Benkei goes underground to attack Motti, who afterwards pleads with him again, but Benkei does not fall for it and goes to attack her again, but Johannes sees this and stops Benkei from attacking, Motti thanks Johannes for saving her and falls in love with him until he gets angry and shouts at Motti. He then uses the sand to create a twister which knocks both Benkei and Motti out, leaving just Johannes and Kyoya. The semi-finals for the Gateway to Success Tournament have just begun. As the Chinese Blader DJ announces the next match of Gingka and Yuki against Dashan and Chi-yun. Bao and Aguma comment on the match to see how powerful the Bladers really are and flashbacks to an earlier time when he and Aguma were training to Beyblade. Two long bridges open to a small circular arena for the battle. Dashan and Chi-Yun jump to the arena with ease while Gingka and Yuki have difficulty crossing the bridge. They cross the bridge and get ready for the battle. The Bladers launch their Beys and begin the battle. In this intense battle, the Beys ram at each other with such force. Dashan and Chi-yun use a Special Move that hits Anubius. Due the hard impact Yuki almost falls off the arena prompting Gingka to save him. As they battle, this happens yet again and Yuki almost falls down. Yuki gets tired of this and activates his Legendary Power. Dashan and Chi-yun are shocked and try to defend but Anubius turns the tables and hits them. Though this is not enough as Dashan and Chi-yun use Special Moves that counter-attack the Beys. Gingka, tired of this, activates his Legendary Power like Yuki. Cosmic Pegasus takes the skies and comes rushing down in a tornado-like motion in its new Special Move, 'Cosmic Tornado'. In this harsh impact, it knocks Rock Zurafa and Thermal Lacerta into the cracks of the Stadium. With this, Gingka and Yuki have won the battle and will advance to the finals. Later, it is time for Kyoya and Benkei's battle against Bao and Aguma. In this short battle, the Beys defeat Bao's Bey with ease but are knocked out when Aguma reveals his Legendary Power and defeats Fang Leone and Dark Bull. Bao is glad that they have won as Aguma stays silent while his eyes are red from activating his Legendary Power.

The finals of the Gateway To Success tournament have arrived! Gingka and Yuki will be battling against the team of Aguma and Bao. This is their chance to find out if Bao or Aguma are Legendary Bladers. The Stadium rises, much to the shock of Gingka and Yuki as they see walls and barriers on the Stadium, giving it a maze-like appearance. This will hinder the Beys movement and possibly make them prone to ambush. The Bladers ready their Beys and launch them at full force. Yuki chooses to attack Bao's Bey, Hell Crown while Gingka decides to attack Aguma's Bey, Scythe Kronos. The Bey Forest Fist Team gain the upper hand against Gingka and Yuki; pushing them around and ramming them against the walls of the stadium. Gingka and Aguma even glow with their Legendary Blader aura. This makes it even harder to give a chance for Gingka and Yuki to fight back. Yuki won't let this happen and unleashing his Legendary Power, giving Anubius the boost is needs ram Hell Crown against rocks which trap Hell Crown. With this, it allows Yuki to join Gingka in defeating Aguma. Despite two against one, Aguma does not seem to mind and fights back. Cosmic Pegasus and Mercury Anubius keep striking and ramming Scythe Kronos that it might as well seem that Gingka and Yuki will win. This of course does not last very long as Hell Crown gets out of its trap and helps Scythe Kronos. Madoka notices via her computer that Scythe Kronos has flipped its PC Frame, possibly giving it a mode-change. Aguma unleashes his full potential and dodges the opposing Beys' attacks. Scythe Kronos unleashes a hurricane of rocks that fly everywhere and just then, Scythe Kronos' Beast appears striking at Pegasus' Beast. In one final clash, the three beys go flying as they stop spinning except for one, Scythe Kronos. This gives Aguma and Bao the win they need to win the Gateway To Success Tournament. Gingka and Yuki rise from their injuries and cannot believe the power Aguma contains with Scythe Kronos. The two teams stare at each other as the tournament has ended.

At the Gateway to Success, after defeating Gingka and Yuki, Aguma and Bao board a helicopter and leave the tournament without even attending the award ceremony. Gingka and Yuki become confused and wonder why they left so soon. However, just before Aguma and Bao board the plane, Johannes sends a cat to spy on them. Later, Aguma and Bao get off the helicopter and start walking until they are stopped by Johannes. Johannes challenges Bao to a battle, where Johannes beats Bao easily. Johannes has an invitation for them and they accept. Meanwhile, Gingka and co are contacted by an old friend, Julian Konzern. They wonder why he contacted them while the gang plan to go to Europe to find out the reason. Elsewhere, a new tournament is starting. In a race, Bladers are challenged to climb the tower whereas on top, they will face a powerful Blader with a powerful Bey. Tsubasa is one of the many Bladers in the crowd to compete while he finds Ryuga, who is attempting to find a Legendary Blader and Kenta too as Ryuga startles the Blader DJ. The tournament begins and all the Bladers dash to the top of the tower. The Blader DJ gets confused as Ryuga just stood there and did nothing. The other bladers shoot their Beys at them. Tsubasa dodges it and launches his Earth Eagle at them, which stops them. However, he is stopped by Kenta who used Sagittario to halt Eagle. They battle with their Beys and although Kenta unleashes his full potential, he still takes a loss by Tsubasa. Tsubasa eventually makes it to the top where he finds Ryuga with his bey L-Drago Destructor. Tsubasa and Ryuga battle where Ryuga gains the advantage. Eventually, L-Drago Destructor throws Earth Eagle in a new Special Move. Tsubasa crumbles to the floor as he takes a loss. Ryuga now faces the Tower Champion but the so-called powerful Blader is left in fear at Ryuga revealed that he is simply the winner of a small tournament used to make this tournament more exciting. With this Ryuga knows he is not a Legendary Blader and is furious at this, as he crushes the Bey with his foot and destroys the Tower of Babel. Ryuga leaves with Kenta as Tsubasa asked Kenta not to go with Ryuga as he's too dangerous. Kenta isn't afraid, but asks Tsubasa not to tell Gingka about this. Meanwhile at the airport Gingka and co bid their farewell at Team Wang Hu Zhong as the Bladers board their flight to Europe, to see what Julian needs them for.

Before the B Block match, Masamune clashes with King, who boasts that he will win the tournament, and whose name Masamune doesn't believe is his real name. Furthermore, Jigsaw, a mysterious boy who despises the two of them, stirs things up between them. A battle royal which includes the three members of the Russian Team and Jack against them as so began. As all Bladers launch their beys, Blitz Striker and Variares go directly head to head. However King then attacks the Russian Team as the Masamune's three friends team up to attack Jack with a new look and Evil Befall but Jack unleashes his special move, Befall The Ripper followed by his Upper Wing spin track attack and takes out one of them. Jack then moves on to attack Jigsaw and his blade, Forbidden Ionis but his opponent blocks it with the ED145 track and attacks with a special move and Befall is knocked out. Variares then attacks Ionis but ED145 fails the attack. Masamune attacks too but the same thing happens. King unleashes Ares who attacks with his sword but Ionis dodges all those attacks. Blitz Striker then zips in between and switches to Assault Attack Mode and attacks Ionis but fails. King and Masamune then recklessly attack Ionis but it is useless against the ED145 track. Jigsaw then uses a special technique that causes his Bey to become invisible and attacks Masamune's friends. Madoka then analyzes Ionis and finds out how it is doing that by using mirages. King goes back to Striker and the two continue fighting while the Russian Team, trash talks/introduces themselves to Jigsaw who attacks Nowaguma. Lera then has Rock Scorpio attack by first having a small tornado surrounding itself then use its JB performance tip which shakes and vibrates the Destroyer Dome stadium and cancels out Jigsaw's invisible technique. She wraps it up with a new Ultimate Attack, Acid Needle, that uses Scorpio's tail which spins and sends pink round sonic-like aura's to disable his technique and succeeds. King and Masamune are very impressed as Lera brags to Jigsaw. The boy is not agitated and decides to use another special move, Burst Satellite. Striker then changes back to Barrage Attack Mode and uses its horn to create a hexagonal shield for defense. Variares switches to Defense Mode. Variares and Striker are the only survivors of Ionis's attack even though Variares and Striker survived the special move both Beys had already lost a large amount of spin. Masamune, King and Jigsaw are the winners of the Block B competitors and move onto the next part of the competition.

It's the final round of the 'Sphere 360' competition. The A Block winners Toby, Zeo, and Tsubasa are joined with the B Block winners Jigsaw, King, and Masamune to face off in the final battle royale. King and Masamune continue to fight over who will win but Jigsaw interjects claiming he'll best the both of them. Tsubasa also reminds them about Jigsaw's special move that ended the B Block round. Gingka, Yuki and Madoka are watching from the sidelines, keeping their eyes on Jigsaw whom they suspect may be a Legendary Blader while cheering for their friends. Jigsaw uses the invisible move with his Forbidden Eonis when Zeo attempts to attack him. Tsubasa then uses a new special move that cancels out the waves created by Forbidden Eonis and becomes visible again. Jigsaw goes after Tsubasa but Zeo and Toby stops him with a combined special move. However, it is not enough to defeat Jigsaw. In turn, Jigsaw launches his powerful special move. King, Masamune and Tsubasa are able to protect their Beys but Zeo and Toby are eliminated. Masamune goes after Jigsaw to avenge his friends' defeat but King cuts in and defeats Jigsaw which also begins to crack the stadium support beams. This is when Gingka, Madoka, Yuki, Masamune and Tsubasa realize that Variares is spinning to the left. Yuki, Gingka and Madoka try to figure out more about this Beyblade. It can spin either to the left or to the right and the group wonders whether there is some connection with bi-directional spinning Beyblades like Gravity Destroyer and Variares, and thought that Variares is very likely to be the basis for Gravity Destroyer. They also begin to suspect that King is the Legendary Blader and not Jigsaw whom they had previously thought might be the one. King and Masamune continue to battle it out when Tsubasa joins in. Even with the joint attacks from Masamune and Tsubasa, King is still holding strong and loving every minute of the battle. Finally, Tsubasa launches his special move and King gets so pumped from the battle, he activates his legendary power and executes his special move which ultimately defeats Tsubasa. With each special move launched by King, the stadium supports cracks even more and finally breaks. The Sphere rolls out of the stadium and Masamune and King run along inside while still battling. However, they are also able to exchange mutual admiration towards each other and King tells him how he got his Bey when following a shooting star one night. The Sphere finally rolls into a body of water and the two Bladers amicably battle to see who is number one. Ultimately, King is the winner and his hair returns to its normal color. Meanwhile, Gingka, Yuki and Madoka catches up with them in time to see the two Bladers laughing. Tsubasa catches up to them. Masamune calls King a Legendary Blader. King while not comprehending why, jovially accepts the title. Masamune then asks him his real name, but he angrily insists that it is 'King'.

Gingka and co arrived in Africa where a Fragment of the Star is said to have fallen. Their destination is the Mist Mountain, named the 'Mountain of No Return'. With the help of Nile and Demure, Gingka and co arrived at the Mist Mountain, only to see a huge maze in front of them. Using his map, Nile leads them through the maze. Johannes, Aguma and his followers follow Gingka and co through the maze at a safe distance. After walking a long distance, Gingka and co take a break. Madoka accidentally placed her hand on the wall, triggering a trap hole below her. Quickly Gingka managed to grab her, preventing her from falling into the darkness. After pulling her out, Gingka himself triggered a trap and fell to a ground with nearly complete darkness. Gingka still manages to send them a message. Gingka told them that he saw something bright in the darkness and wanted to investigate. At first, his friends were reluctant, but had given in to Gingka. They told him that they will be proceeding on with the maze and asked him to take care. Gingka ran towards the bright light, just when the pillars on the sides collapsed. He finds a stranger, who is looking for something. Gingka went up to him and wanted to talk to him. He thought that Gingka was trying to stop him from searching for his treasures and challenged him to a Bey battle. Gingka readily accepted. It was an intense battle as both Bladers used their special moves against one another. The battle ended with huge explosion near the others location. A mysterious Bey flew straight towards them and landed on the ground Spinning. It was followed by Pegasus flying out from the dust caused by the explosion and sleeping out. Gingka jumped out and grab his Bey. His friends were stunned as they could not believe Gingka managed to have a Bey battle even if he was trapped. The stranger ran forward and catch his Bey, Omega Dragonis. It was then when he first introduced himself as Ryuto, claiming to be a treasure hunter. He decides to assist the group on their quest.

After adding Ryuto to their group, Gingka and co. move on with their journey. They arrive at the mouth of Mist Mountain. As the name suggests, there is thick dense mist everywhere which slowly engulfs them. Gingka and co start to panic but Kyoya launches his bey and creates tornado which clears the mist and reveals a huge entrance. As they proceed through the entrance, Johannes and Aguma follows the group. Gingka and his friends arrive at a fork in the path and do not know which way to go. Ryuto notices the statues eyes seem to point the way and tests the corridor for traps with his Bey. It is safe and he takes the path on the right. Gingka and co follow him. Ryuto arrives at the next junction and quickly takes the path on the left, following the statues eyes they arrive at the third junction which has three doorways but Ryuto realizes something is not right about the path the eyes are pointing to this time. Benkei does not take heed, he decides to take the path the eyes are pointing to. Ryuto tries to stop him and warns him that it could be a trap. As Benkei tries to enter through the doorway, a gate begins to fall but he manages to stop the gate long enough to free himself from danger. The gate closes all the way and then reopens. Kyoya observes that when the wooden gate had sealed the path, the statue's eyes had moved into another direction and mentions this to group. Ryuto and Kyoya both agree that the path on the left is the correct way. Throughout the maze in Mist Mountain, Johannes, Aguma, Bao and their followers continue to follow at a safe distance from Gingka and friends. Ryuto suddenly stops but Gingka is unable to stop in time and slides down a slope. Gingka and co realize they have reached an ancient Bey Stadium. They see an enormous stone gate and try to figure out how to open it. Kyoya realizes they are being followed and launches his bey causing an explosion in the corridor that they previously had entered from. Johannes and Aguma come out, coughing. Gingka and co are shocked to see them here. Johannes was also looking for Legendary Bladers. Kyoya demands a rematch between him and Aguma. He has not forgotten his loss during the match in China. Anger ignites between Kyoya and Aguma and a heated battle soon commences. The stone door opens as a result. Ryuto runs towards the door but Johannes launches his bey to stop him. Nile takes charge and orders Demure and Benkei to take a defensive position to block Johannes, Bao, and their followers. He then tells Gingka, Madoka, Yuki and Ryuto to go ahead. Ryuto runs ahead and Gingka is reluctant to leave them but ultimately follows Ryuto, leaving them behind. The battle between Kyoya and Aguma intensifies as they both use special moves against one another. Aguma provokes Kyoya calling him Gingka's follower in disgust. At first, Nile, Benkei and Demure are losing their battle, but through teamwork of special moves and renewed sense of determination, they manage to defeat Johannes, Bao and his followers. They rush to join in Kyoya's battle but are stopped by Kyoya. He is very determined to defeat Aguma by himself and threatens them not to interfere. Kyoya returns to his battle and beats Aguma in the end. When the battle has ended, the stone door starts to close. Kyoya, Nile, Benkei, and Demure manage to get through the doorway before it closes while Johannes, Aguma, Bao, and their followers are trapped on the other side. As they make their way to catch up to Gingka, Kyoya is brooding over what Aguma said about being Gingka's follower.

Gingka launches Cosmic Pegasus through a wall and breaks it, leaving a path out of the labyrinth. Suddenly they hear a mysterious voice and the dull, grey clouds come apart to reveal a clear blue sky and ruins, which are set up similarly to Stonehenge. Gingka then notices the temple behind it, which has a large, black door. Gingka then bangs on the door several times before preparing to launch Pegasus at the door, until Ryuto stops him. Ryuto then notices strange writing on the door, which Madoka uses her laptop to try and analyse it, but to no avail. They decide to look around the Stonehenge, when a yellow snake appears out of nowhere and scares Yuki. Ryuto then notices a small hole in one of the stones and looks through it, wondering what caused the hole, which prompts Ryuto to put Omega Dragonis near the hole. Benkei, Kyoya, Nile, and Demure all come out of the labyrinth, to which Benkei gives out a huge sigh of relief. They then notice Gingka trying to move one of the stones to no avail. Gingka then gets frustrated when he cannot move and kicks it, only to hurt his foot and hop up and down. Gingka then turns around and notices Kyoya and the others. Kyoya then prepares to launch Fang Leone at one of the stones but Gingka attempts to stop him, but Kyoya still launches Leone at the stone, but it rebounds off it and rebounds onto the stones around it and back onto the stone Kyoya hit and then rebounds towards them and they start running, which Ryuto and Yuki notice. Leone ends up breaking one of the stones, and Ryuto gets angry at them. Gingka and Kyoya start shouting at each other, which makes Madoka really angry and starts shouting at them. They are then seen at the temple door to try and figure it out and Madoka walks up to the door and concentrates and says something to open the door, which doesn't work. Later, Yuki looks up at the sky and notices the Cygnus constellation, and then runs back down the steps, and up to the top of a pile of fallen stones. Gingka and Ryuto then follow him. Ryuto then takes out a booklet and a pen and draws the Cygnus stick figure down in it which reveals that Stonehenge is in the shape of the Cygnus constellation. They then find the stone with a hole in it and Yuki launches Mercury Anubis through it and goes through stones with holes in them and the top of them light up, revealing the Cygnus constellation. Then a light consumes the door, and the door opens and they proceed through the door to find a shadowy figure sitting on a chair, who reveals himself to be Dynamis. In front of them is a stadium with the 12 Star Signs on it. Dynamis then reveals his Bey, Jade Jupiter, he challenges one of them to a battle, to which Kyoya accepts, but, as he is about to launch, Ryuto launches instead. Madoka then analyses Jade Jupiter on her computer, Ryuto then changes modes, and soon after, the metal balls in Jade move inward, later the balls in Jade move back outward. After meeting and discovering how Tithi is, Yu decides to challenge Tithi to a battle, since he'd never battled anyone ever before. The two Bladers ready their Beys as they prepare to launch and begin the battle. Tithi, oddly, appears to be very confident in himself with no worries about losing. Yu ignores this as he fights to his maximum potential with his Flame Libra, activating two Special Moves. Tithi, however, despite getting a multitude of hits by Libra, reveals his Legendary Power as a gold aura appears before him. Yu uses his special move, Inferno Blast to try and subdue Quetzalcoatl in one hit. Tithi is impressed but he counters. He activates a special move as Death Quetzalcoatl's Beast appears and in one final blow defeats Flame Libra, winning the battle. Kyoya however, is impressed by his power and the fact that he's a Legendary Blader and decides to challenge Tithi to a battle, even though Tithi doesn't want to.

Somewhere, Johannes, Bao, Aguma, and Chris are led by Pluto to a dark cave where they meet a dark version of Dynamis. Right there, Pluto and Dynamis use a dark power that uses dark energy from Jupiter, Kronos, and Orion that when used together, split the ground apart and cause a Stadium in the lava to appear, and in that Stadium, lies the early version of Nemesis: Proto Nemesis. Pluto tells them that only non-Legendary Bladers have the ability to pick up and use Proto Nemesis. Bao decides to go into the Stadium and see Proto Nemesis for himself and as he grabs it, Proto Nemesis flings Bao against a wall, showing that Proto Nemesis is, indeed, a threat. The others launch their Beys in order to test Proto Nemesis' power. Despite this however, Proto Nemesis keeps taking the hits and is unaffected, keeps spinning as if nothing has happened, and for some strange reason, Nemesis seemed to always be drawn to the center of the stadium. This repeated over and over, until the bladers realize that Nemesis is filled with bewildering dark power. In one final clash, the Beasts of Jupiter, Kronos, and Orion appear and as they attack Proto Nemesis, But Nemesis releases so much dark power so that they lose and Proto Nemesis keeps spinning. They are amazed at this Bey as they cannot believe the power Proto Nemesis holds. Gingka and co talk to Ryo and Hikaru via webcam and find out a presence is happening to their Beys. Gingka's Cosmic Pegasus and King's Variares are glowing with their corresponding Legendary colour due to Proto Nemesis sending a seismic wave of Legendary power. Ryo tells them that Nemesis has been resurrected and is up to them to defeat Nemesis once and for all. The gang then run to begin their adventure to stop Nemesis. Meanwhile, somewhere near a waterfall, a man with a cane in a top hat and a gold streak of hair opens a gate that reveals a group of men, and one of those men, will be the owner of Nemesis.

Through a helicopter, Gingka and the gang; Yuki, Madoka, King, Masamune, Benkei, Toby, and Zeo are rushing to the ancient ruins where inside, the dark energy of Proto Nemesis was given off and had affected all of the Legendary Bladers' Beys. Cosmic Pegasus was glowing with its aura due to this, leading the gang to the ruins. While inside the ruins, the dark energy of Proto Nemesis continues, as if it will never stop. Pluto gazes at this and is enjoying the power of Proto Nemesis. However Chris and Aguma try to pull themselves together after their incredible loss to Proto Nemesis. Pluto tells them that soon Gingka and the others will arrive in response to the dark energy. Just then, the mysterious person with a walking cane arrives at the scene. He tells them that he knows about Gingka and the others. Aguma reacts and attempts to assault him with his Bey, but Johannes reassures him that everything is fine. The man tells Pluto that he has brought along people with him. He has brought along with him, and the three Nemesis Bladers: Herschel, Keyser, and Cycnus. The three reveal their Beyblades with Herschel owning Duo Uranus, Keyser owning a Bakushin Beelzebub, and Cycnus owning Kreis Cygnus. Rago then out of nowhere, uses his power to control the dark energy of Proto Nemesis which increases it and made it more powerful. Dynamis starts to choke as the energy is too much while Pluto becomes excited when he has found the worthy Child of Nemesis, Rago. Meanwhile, Gingka and co. arrive at the ruins but just when they attempt to enter it, Beat Lynx subdues them as Johannes, Bao, and the Temple Bladers arrive. They want to stop Gingka and the others from entering the ruins as they attack them. With Toby fighting Johannes and Zeo fighting Bao. Benkei then joins in the fight as his Dark Bull stampedes over the Temple Bladers' Beys. Toby and Zeo tell Gingka and the others to enter the temple while they handle Johannes and Bao. Then, the Temple Bladers gather their Beys onto Dark Bull but Benkei unleashes his full potential and drives them away with full force. Gingka and the others get ready to enter the temple. Johannes then switches Beat Lynx to a higher height to stop the others but Zeo's Spiral Fox knocks Hell Crown over it rams Beat Lynx by accident. They then handle the Temple Bladers' Beys while Johannes and Bao think of a plan. Elsewhere, inside the temple, Yuki's Anubius glows which leads them inside a maze of stairs of the ruins. Benkei then spots Yu in a helicopter who tells him that Kyoya and Tithi are with him. Benkei is excited at this but then turns sad when land at the top of the ruins, not able to aid them in battle. Gingka and the others are then stopped when they encounter none of than Aguma. Aguma wants to stop them from stopping Nemesis' revival and launches Scythe Kronos at him but just as Gingka gets ready to launch Pegasus, Yuki intercepts and launches Anubius. Yuki plots to defeat Aguma once and for all and to have nothing stand in his way. Aguma does not see Yuki as any threat though as their Beys clash in battle. Each clash gives Proto Nemesis even more energy. Just then, Gingka and the others are spotted by Dark Dynamis. Gingka is surprised at how Dynamis has turned over to aid Nemesis and cannot believe his eyes. Dynamis assures Gingka that he will defeat him with all his might which gives Gingka off.

The episode starts with the aftermath of the previous battle, with Diablo Nemesis being born. Rago calls its power and the Gang are sent flying again, except for Gingka, who stands up and protests. Rago stops as both Bladers load their Beys and launch. Cosmic Pegasus gets off to a good start, overpowering Nemesis. Pegasus changes to Upper Attack Mode and deals more and more blows each time. Nemesis then begins not to budge at all, much to Gingka's disappointment. Nemesis changes its X Drive Tip to XF and begins attacking Pegasus, who stands there helpless. Gingka tries a counter attack, but Nemesis' Beast emits from its Bey and takes the form of an evil version of Pegasus. Pluto states that Nemesis has the power of the nine Legendary Beys, allowing it to do so. The Gang cannot sit there any longer and watch, so Yu announces that they should all launch their Beys to help Gingka, who seemed to be losing the battle. Kyoya, Yuki, King, Chris, Dynamis, Tithi, and Masamune all launch their Beys, while Aguma and Ryuga does not. Nemesis takes the form of each of their Beasts and knocks them back. Doji begins to taunt Ryuga once more for helping Gingka in the first place, annoying Ryuga deeply. Doji goes on to provoke him further by telling Ryuga that he caused the rise of Nemesis and was only a tool in the plan, again, annoying Ryuga further. Ryuga, enraged by Doji, launches L-Drago Destructor, creating a 'wall of fire' in its path. Ryuga states that his 'Dragon Spirit' is awake and orders L-Drago to attack Nemesis. Similar to the others, Nemesis takes the form of 'L-Drago' and counter attacks, sending the real L-Drago backwards. Rago calls his Special Move, Armageddon, which begins to destroy The Mayan Ruins. Elsewhere, Hikaru and Ryo notice the extreme energy levels and send the WBBA Squads and Tsubasa to help everyone. Back at the temple, Gingka and his Gang call back their Beys and make a hasty retreat to avoid being crushed by the temple. Ryuga refuses to leave, annoyed with Doji. Kenta clings to Ryuga's arm, begging him to leave, but he doesn't and the Temple collapses. The WBBA Squads arrive outside, along with Tsubasa, and help Benkei, Zeo and Toby. Tsubasa runs over to the Temple entrance, where Gingka and his Group have been sealed in. Tsubasa launches Earth Eagle and clears the path for everyone. It is too late though, as the Temple crashes down and disappears due to Nemesis' Special Move, leaving everyone lying on the floor fainted, except for Tsubasa. At the WBBA HQ Ryo, Hikaru, Tsubasa, Yuki, and Madoka look at a screen of the world. They look at the presence created by Diablo Nemesis, as it is growing stronger in North America, Central America, and South America. They become worried as a result, as they fear the dark power Nemesis holds. Elsewhere at the HQ, the Legendary Bladers and Kenta, are all around. After the massive battle that took place previously at the temple which was destroyed by Diablo Nemesis, everyone had seemed to lose hope in themselves, and each other. Tired, the Bladers remember what took place during the battle, and felt as it Nemesis was unbeatable. But some did not despair, as they believed that their strong bonds and feelings for wanting a bright future, will become the strength of their Beys. With this, it has started to give them hope as well as determination. The Bladers eventually decided to go through some training, in order to prepare for their next battle with Nemesis, and will use their maximum potential this time. As the rest of the Legendary Bladers left, leaving only Gingka, Madoka, Kenta, and Dynamis. Gingka decided to go train with Kenta asks Dynamis would he like to come with them, but he declined. Telling him that he needs to go talk with someone, about something important. Meanwhile at another place at the HQ, Aguma, Bao, and their Bladers are sitting around with Bao angry at the fact of the huge power Nemesis holds, starting that they will have to train much more harder if they are to be on Nemesis' side. Though Aguma is skeptical on this but just then, Dynamis drops by. Dynamis tells Aguma a story of his ancestor. That long ago, Aguma's ancestor fought alongside Nemesis just like he was now. But through determination and bonds, Aguma's ancestor was able to be with his true side, his fellow Legendary Bladers. Dynamis tells Aguma that he wishes he will do the same as his ancestor, and be with the Legendary Bladers. As Dynamis leaves, Aguma thinks about this and wants to make a fresh determination in response. At training, as Gingka and Kenta are battling with their Beys, with Gingka gaining upper-hand, Kenta thinks for a moment. He thinks of what happened to Ryuga, as he last saw him in the temple while it was being destroyed by Diablo Nemesis' Special Spin Move, Armageddon. Kenta wonders, and hopes that Ryuga is okay where ever he is. Somewhere at a mountain, Ryuga is undergoing massive training as he wants to be powerful enough to take on Diablo Nemesis. He then thinks of Doji's taunts at him, the ones that enraged him with so much anger. Ryuga turns furious, and continues his training. With his goal: to destroy Diablo Nemesis, no matter the cost.

The episode begins continuing from the previous one with Pluto's evil laugh at the Kingdom rising up. Rago launches Nemesis into a Stadium and begins exerting 'Dark Energy', causing abnormal weather and natural disasters to occur worldwide. News channels are shown to be alerting citizens of countries. In the helicopter, King asks Madoka about the location of the power source. Hikaru provides a report about it and shocks Tsubasa with the location. Dynamis explains that an old underwater shrine lurks there and that it may have been Pluto's plan to raise it up in the first place. Hikaru explains that strange wind patterns and whirlpools surround the temple, making it harder for the Bladers to get close. She also provides an analysis file on Diablo Nemesis' stats and mechanics. Lightning hits the helicopter and the lights go out, causing steering to somewhat become harder. The problem doesn't end there as unexpected turbulence pushes the helicopter off course. The turbulence rocks the helicopter enough to throw Masamune, Yu, and Kenta out of the backroom and into the main cabin, annoying both Gingka and Kyoya. Aguma attempts to scare the trio with lightning but they appear to be determined to stay and help. Lightning strikes once again, throwing the helicopter completely off-course and out of control as smoke begins emitting from the rotor blades. Tsubasa flees to the cargo bay and opens the hatch, dropping all the cargo to attempt to increase speed and control. This doesn't work and the helicopter crash-lands on an island. Gingka and Kyoya exclaim how the island is the same one they battled on before. Madoka checks the distance away from the target and states that they're close. King and Masamune jump with excitement and run, along with everyone else, towards the speedboats dropped from the helicopter before the crash. Kenta is unsure but Gingka reassures him that everything will be fine and that he's glad he came, motivating Kenta to continue. Ryuga is seen observing Nemesis' power from afar, gritting his teeth at it. Rago continues to release power and cause major disturbances. Ryuga bursts through a wall with the power of L-Drago, much to Pluto, Rago and Doji's dismay. Doji proceeds to provoke him, but Ryuga ignores him and challenges Rago to a battle, grabbing his Bey and Launcher to prepare for battle. Pluto commands Rago to accept the challenge. Rago withdraws Diablo Nemesis in order to re-launch, stopping the harsh weather conditions and mass power outbreak. Rago and Ryuga launch their beys ending the episode.

The episode continues where the previous one left off with Diablo Nemesis attacking each and every one of the Legendary Blader's beys. Each of the Legendary Bladers is sent flying backwards as well. Masamune, Tsubasa, and Yu will not stand for this and get Striker, Eagle, and Libra to attack Nemesis which ultimately fails as they are sent flying backwards as well. Gingka, Kyoya, Aguma, and King all stand up again and order Pegasus, Leone, Kronos, and Variares to attack Nemesis, only for it to fail yet again and get them sent flying back against the walls. Each of the Legendary Bladers are in terrible states as they struggle to get the strength to even lift their heads up. Dynamis loses hope, exclaiming that it's useless to fight and he was one of the Bladers of the Seasons needed to seal Nemesis away. Rago then unleashes huge amount of Dark Power from Nemesis, causing severe weather problems and the entire Earth to go black. Lava comes out of the ground in front of Nile and Demure as they watch. Volcanoes erupt around Team Excalibur as they watch them erupt. Pillars around the Beylin Temple crumble as Team Wang Hu Zhong watch their temple slowly crumble around them. Ryo and Hikaru watch all the disasters happening on the WBBA computer. The Legendary Bladers are amazed by the power, but Gingka still refuses to allow it to happen as he orders Pegasus to attack once more. Pegasus is sent flying even further backwards than before as Pluto and Rago laugh. The Legendary Bladers collapse as they have lost their hope that they had built up. All hope appears to be lost. Kenta begins reminiscing about his journey since he met Gingka, how he stood up to the Face Hunters, how they participated in the Survival Battle, how they all set out to enter Battle Bladers and the friends they met on their way, how they met Masamune as a Persistent Challenger and ended up winning the World Championships, and even his journey alongside Ryuga. Kenta orders Sagittario to attack Nemesis, but fails like the others. He believes that there is still hope somewhere as he attacks again and again, constantly failing each time, causing him to collapse with Gingka shouting at him in the background. Kenta flashbacks to his journey with Ryuga once more, how no matter how many times he collapsed, he'd always persist and continue. With this, Kenta stands up once again. Ryuga begins moving his hand and picks up L-Drago. Kenta uses his special move Flame Claw, which fails just as any other one of his attack has. Nemesis uppercuts Sagittario, causing it to shatter slightly and Kenta to collapse once more. Madoka runs over to Kenta to try to help him, but Nemesis uses its power to send her flying backwards. Masamune, Tsubasa, and Yu attack once more for Kenta and Madoka's sake, but fail once again. Kenta stands up once again as everyone cheers him on. Nemesis begins charging at Sagittario, but Ryuga stands up and launches L-Drago towards Sagittario, saying that Kenta is his friend. A link begins between L-Drago and Sagittario as the Star Fragment is transferred. L-Drago Destructor then disintegrates in the same manner as Storm Pegasus, much to Kenta's shock. Kenta turns around to see that Ryuga has also vanished. A distraught Kenta then fires up his Blader Spirit Sagittario's flame wheel evolves into Flash and his Track/Tip extend into 230WD. Then Kenta turns around to Rago and tells him he is going down. Gingka exclaims that Kenta has replaced Ryuga as a Legendary Blader and taken his place as a Blader of the Seasons, giving them hope once again. Kenta doesn't react at being a Legendary Blader and orders Sagittario to charge at Nemesis.

Zeus' Barrier continues to fight against Nemesis' power. Rago attempts to power Nemesis up more, but fails as the Barrier shrinks around Nemesis. The Fragment from Hades' Fusion Wheel flashes slightly as the Barrier stops Nemesis' power. The weather conditions around the globe are fixed as a result. Team Wild Fang, Wang Hu Zhong, Excalibur and Lovushka are seen celebrating as the world returns to normal. The Barrier forms a sphere around Nemesis and eventually sends a beam upwards, seemingly sending Nemesis back out of the world. The temple begins to collapse as Rago and Pluto collapse, knowing that their efforts have become futile. The Legendary Bladers and the remaining Bladers sprint out of the temple, with Aguma barely making it to the exit. Pluto curses at the Legendary Bladers as the temple explodes from existence. The Gang is hurt from the explosion, but manage to find the strength to get back up and look at what they caused. King and Masamune jump over to Gingka and hug him, with Yuki exclaiming that he did it, while Gingka disagrees and says that everyone did it. Gingka tells Kyoya that he did well, but Kyoya becomes angry. Yu and Tithi tease Kyoya over this, causing him to playfully shout at them. Gingka also applauds Chris, Dynamis, and Aguma for their help after switching sides, to which they all blush. Gingka also applauds Kenta for his work as a Legendary Blader, to which Kenta thanks him, and then thinks about Ryuga while staring at his new Sagittario. Helicopters arrive with Ryo, Hikaru, Benkei, Zeo and Toby cheering them. In another helicopter is the Blader DJ, reporting to the world with the news that Nemesis has been stopped. He lists all the Bladers involved and their past immediately before the screen cuts to views of cities. Kyoya states that he dislikes the attention and becomes angry once again. Dark power suddenly shoots up into the sky from where the Stadium once was, with Diablo Nemesis appearing once again. Everyone is shocked by this, when suddenly the true form of Nemesis appears, with Rago and Pluto fused into it. Pluto reveals that a shard from Hades pierced the barrier, allowing the full power of Nemesis to be released, rather than Nemesis to be sealed away and everyone remains shocked. While everyone remains shocked, Nemesis begins letting off a dark energy spiral around it, causing helicopters to be thrown off-balance. Everyone attaches their Beys to their Launchers, but Masamune collapses after using all his strength to pierce Nemesis' barrier but gets back up and prepares to battle. Everyone then launches and Nemesis takes on the shadow forms of each Bey, except Libra, and attacks them with even more power than before. It threw Earth Eagle, Flame Libra, Jade Jupiter, Blitz Striker, and Mercury Anubius back, destroying them and stopping them from spinning expect the Bladers of the Four Seasons beys and three of the Solar System beys. Each Blader exclaims about their Bey while Blader DJ provides commentary on the battle while Gingka stares at Nemesis.

As Nemesis' fury continues to grow and rage a dark, shadow-like force is emitted from Nemesis to Earth. The large thunderclouds of darkness soon reaches every continent on Earth and as the thunder rages on, Nemesis creates The Black Sun. An apocalypse travels around the globe with earthquakes and civilians try to shelter themselves, desperate for help. Blader DJ announces all of this as the whole world, in fear watches the ongoing action appearing. The beyblades against Nemesis still continue to struggle, as they are having a very difficult time to assault Nemesis with the new weather phenomenon. Although the beys of the gang succumbed to cracks everyone did not give up and continued to attack, but Nemesis' Shadow Beasts countered this. It became quite too powerful as all the Beyblades fell to the ground. With their loss of spin and not able to battle anymore it seemed as if nothing could be done and the end is near. Gingka just stood there, thinking nothing could be done against the ruthless Nemesis. With Rago and Pluto's taunts at Gingka, it was getting under Gingka's skin and became very problematic for any solution. Gingka didn't care and knew that Nemesis would go down, but Cosmic Pegasus was beginning to lose its spin. Kyoya suddenly told Gingka he would give up the Star Fragment enchanted in his Fang Leone to Gingka's Cosmic Pegasus in an effort to prevent the world's collapse to destruction. Noting that over the time he's met Gingka, he has always trained himself to be Gingka's greatest rival, and this would prove it. Kenta then agreed to do the same, remembering of when he first met Gingka. How he saved him from the Face Hunters with his Blader's Spirit and saw him as a role model. Gingka then had a vision, of him being in the center of a galaxy. There, the Legendary Bladers and the rest of the Bladers decided to give off their Star Fragment to Cosmic Pegasus. Knowing that only Gingka can save them now, this is their last and only chance. The beys give off their Star Fragments at their owners command and goes into Cosmic Pegasus, regaining its balance and spins at full power. Gingka regains confidence in himself and his friends in order to defeat Nemesis and save Earth. With this Cosmic Pegasus speeds toward Diablo Nemesis and clash into battle.

Pegasus enters scheme of delivering hard hitting blows to Nemesis, preventing it from countering. Everyone around the world is seen cheering for Gingka as he fights for the fate of everyone, as Tobio and Ryuto are also seen. Nemesis then uses Shadow L-Drago in an attempt to knock Pegasus flying, but Gingka commands Pegasus to use Starblast Attack on Nemesis. The collision cancels out both moves as they both fall back. Shadow L-Drago is used again, but Pegasus responds by releasing its own beast, as well as Sagittario. Everyone falls into shock that Gingka has obtained the power of the Star Beasts in his bey. He quickly switches to Leone, Ares, and Anubius to which Nemesis counters with Shadow Forms of each. With each collision, the ground crumbles around Gingka and the Legendary Bladers. Gingka quickly releases the rest of the Star Beasts, overjoying the Legendary Bladers, but infuriating Rago to the extent where he commands their Shadow Forms to appear. Each beast collides with even power as the corners of the Kingdom begin to break off. Gingka begins to reach the limit of his physical strength. Rago takes advantage of this by commanding the Black Sun to use lightning on parts of the world. The WBBA Headquarters is annihilated, with minor damage to other buildings. Gingka continues to lack strength as the Shadow Beasts defeat each and every one of the Star Beasts. Each of the Legendary Bladers feel pain from their beast being defeated. Shadow L-Drago then proceeds to attack Sagittario and succeeds, sending Kenta back. The Shadow Beasts then merge into a Mutant Dragon creature with feet and wings. A darkness storm brews, causing Gingka to struggle to stand up once again. Benkei cannot stand to watch Gingka fail after the effort he put in and thinks of a way to help. His desire proceeds to cause Dark Bull to glow, along with Spiral Lyra, Spiral Fox, and Storm Aquario. Ryo explains that every bey descended from the original Star Fragment used to create Pegasus, so every bey in the world contains a part of the Fragment, no matter how small it may be. Benkei, overjoyed at this news, stands on the edge of the Helicopter with Hikaru, Toby and Zeo and fire their Fragments at Gingka. Everyone in the world notices and does the exact same, with everyone holding their beys up in the air and releasing the power of their Fragments. Each Fragment joins together in the air and collides onto the Kingdom, removing Nemesis' Ultimate Shadow Beast and powering Pegasus up once again. Gingka and Pegasus glow golden, much to the shock of Rago. Gingka commands Pegasus to attack Nemesis once again as the episode ends.

It is in the climax of the last battle. Gingka with his Cosmic Pegasus against the over-powered Nemesis. Gingka continues with attacks as he attempts to knock out Diablo Nemesis with all he can in his might, willpower, and wit. Rago while inside of Nemesis is not fond as Nemesis keeps continuing to attack as still, everyone around the globe is watching, but there seems to be no use in this. With Nemesis' Shadow Beast, it may seem to be the end of Gingka, Pegasus, and the fate of humanity. Gingka does not care and instead commands Pegasus. He rides on Pegasus Beast as they fly into outer space, with which, they disappear for a moment. When at that moment, Cosmic Pegasus' motif appears big and flashes, signifying a special move. Gingka and Pegasus glides down toward Earth, in a special move reminiscent of their first: Starblast Attack. They, with Pegasus' golden aura, strike Nemesis into its chest with a Super Cosimc Tornado, as Cosimc Pegasus is in close combat with Diablo Nemesis. Gingka gives it his all, as he knows that if he loses right now, all is lost in this world and for everything else. He can only survive this battle by his friends, family, ideals, and for his wanting of a better future for his friends, family, and the ultimate fate of humanity. Gingka then unleashes the final strike. Pegasus goes through Nemesis' chest, creating a hole as Nemesis begins to lose power. Nemesis' dark power starts to burst away, with all of it disappearing against Nemesis' will. Rago himself, even shows his pain and agony as he cannot do anything now. Nemesis' Shadow Beast appears to be getting weaker by the moment. The Black Sun is losing power due to Nemesis losing as well and falls off, disappearing in the midst. Nemesis falls as Nemesis and Rago disappear with no trace left behind at all. The dark clouds that took place during the battle leave, as a sun-light returns. Everyone is left watching, wondering what happens to Gingka and Pegasus. It is then where Cosmic Pegasus is spinning, albeit almost losing spin. Gingka is alone watching, with scars left throughout his body. Cosmic Pegasus ends its spin and stops, where Gingka simultaneously collapses onto the ground. Gingka's friends dash at him, being afraid if Gingka is deceased. They then find Gingka but see he has awoken in which they relief. Gingka then asks if Nemesis is gone. They tell him Nemesis is, away from the world to never come back, as Gingka is delighted. His friends are as well, as they reconcile with one another. Gingka however, gives thanks to a very special friend he met since his adventure started. This friend, Ryuga, who Gingka is very thankful for. Though Ryuga is deceased, Gingka knows that Ryuga gave it his all for Gingka and he couldn't have done it any other way. Even though Ryuga is deceased, Gingka knows that Ryuga is thankful and is happy to have done what he had done. As time passes, multiple things occur. The Legendary Blader's resume their original roles such as Dynamis as The Guardian of Mist Mountain and Tithi with him, Gingka's being interview for saving the world, Chris leaves Metal Bey City, Masamune, King, Toby, and Zeo return to the Dungeon Gym, Aguma reunites with Bao and Beylin Fist, and Madoka fixing the Legendary Bladers beys. Later, Gingka and Kyoya are in a BeyStadium, with their friends there as well. Gingka and Kyoya later, decide to have a battle as they bring out their Beys, Cosmic Pegasus and Fang Leone, respectively. They prepare and yell the legendary chant, '3.. 2.. 1.. Let It Rip!'. At the end of the chant, Gingka jumps high up, to in a background of outer space ending Metal Fury. |

Plot[edit]
Beyblade [edit]
A young man named Tyson (Takao Kinomiya) enters the Japan Regional Beyblade Qualifying Tournament, where he encounters Ray Kon (Rei Kon) and Kai Hiwatari. After defeating them, they organize a team, known as the Bladebreakers, along with Max Tate (Max Mizuhara). Kenny tags along as their manager. The Bladebreakers tour to China to register for the championships while confronting the White Tigers, Ray's former team. It is seen that Ray's old team holds a grudge against him for leaving them. Toward the end of the Chinese tournament, Ray and his ex-teammates make amends, and the Bladebreakers win the tournament.
After this, Tyson and his friends arrive in the United States to fight the All Starz, who are coached by Max's mother. After winning the American League, the team finds itself stranded in Europe. They tour Europe and meet Oliver, Enrique, Johnny and Robert, who go by the name Majestics.
The Bladebreakers battle the Majestics and the Bladebreakers win the battle. They then go to Russia for the final tournament. In Russia, they meet Boris's team, of which Kai was also a member of in the past. Kai had forgotten about Boris and the training grounds where he had learned almost everything he knew about Beyblading. However, he soon regains his memory. He finds Black Dranzer, his dream Beyblade and decides to join the Demolition Boys team, aiming to be the best Beyblader. Tyson finds out and tries to convince Kai to return to the Bladebreakers, but Kai rejects him, throwing his old Beyblade, Dranzer, at Tyson's feet. Tyson keeps Dranzer with him and vows to bring Kai back. Soon, before the finals, Kai challenges the Bladebreakers to steal their Bit-Beasts and become most powerful Blader. However, only Tyson and Ray show up. Max is still at the airport, returning from where he was training with Tyson and Ray with his new Beyblade, Draciel. Just at the moment when Kai seems to take the bit-beasts of Tyson and Ray, Max comes and challenges Kai. Kai thinks that he could easily beat Draciel but he can't and soon Tyson uses Kai's own old Blade, Dranzer to beat the Black Dranzer and defeat Kai. Kai, shocked by the power of Dranzer, doesn't notice the ice beneath him cracking and falls into the frozen water below. Tyson, Ray, Max and Kenny rescue Kai. Realizing the power of friendship as well as the power of Dranzer, Kai returns to the Bladebreakers.
In the final match, Tyson battles Tala, winning the match and becoming a Beyblade World Champion for the first time.
Beyblade V-Force[edit]
The Bladebreakers have gone their separate ways. But when Team Psykick and the Saint Shields attack the Bladebreakers and try to steal their bit-beasts, the Bladebreakers reassemble to defeat the new enemies. Tyson's classmate Hilary Tachibana (Hiromi Tachibana) joins the Bladebreakers but takes time to learn that Beyblade isn't just the stupid game she thinks it is.
In an attempt to steal the four bit-beasts from the Bladebreakers, Team Psykick creates four cyber bitbeast copies of the Bladebreakers' bit-beasts and recruit four skilled bladers named Kane, Salima, Goki, and Jim. These teenagers were pure-hearted and innocent bladers with high ambitions, but the dark power of the cyber bit-beasts gradually take over their minds and turn them evil. The first half of the second season ends with the Bladebreakers defeating Team Psykick. Tyson, Ray, Kai and Max battle Kane, Salima, Goki and Jim respectively and defeat them. After the cyber beasts are destroyed Team Psykick come back to their normal selves and regain consciousness. The second half of Season 2 deals with the truth of why the Saint Shields and Team Psykick are after Bladebreakers' bit-beasts and about a rock that Max's mother found that contains bit-beasts, which is stolen by Team Psykick.
The Saint Shields' reason behind attempting to steal the bit-beasts is because they wish to seal them in a rock because they fear that the bit-beasts could get out of control like they did in the past. The Saint Shields battle the Bladebreakers and manage to seal off Ray's bit-beast Driger in a rock. Later Ray reclaims Driger and defeats all the Saint Shields in a team face-off. The Psykick's leader, Dr. Zagart, wants the bit-beasts to turn his android son Zeo (an exact replica of his son who died in an accident) into a real human.
After defeating the Saint Shields, Tyson meets Zeo and befriends him without knowing that he is the son of Team Psykick's leader. Zeo is unaware that he is an android and that his father is behind all of Team Psykick's plans. Later Zeo finds out about his past and decides to help his father in his plans. Dr. Zagart gives Zeo a bit beast named Cerberus, the strongest bit-beast sealed in the rock. Zeo enters the world Beyblade tournament with the motive of defeating all the Bladebreakers members and stealing their bit-beasts. In the tournament, Zeo defeats Kai and Max and steals their bit-beasts Dranzer and Draciel. But in the final battle Tyson and Dragoon (Tyson's bit-beast) defeat Zeo and Cerberus. In the process, Tyson and Max's team win the world tournament. Dranzer and Draciel come back to their original bladers, Kai and Max.
Beyblade G-Revolution[edit]
Kai, Ray, and Max left Tyson and went their separate ways to rejoin their old teams so that they have a chance to beat each other at the World Championship which has been re-designed with tag-teams of two. Max joins the PPB All Starz, Ray joins White Tiger X, and Kai joins the Blitzkrieg Boys. This leaves only Tyson, Hilary, and Kenny on the team. A new character, Daichi Sumeragi, and Tyson's brother, Hiro Granger, join them. The two other teams involved are the Barthez Battalion and F-Dynasty. One week after the results of the World Championships, Boris, the secondary villain from the first season, says things will return to the way they were before. But he declares that all the Beyblade shops must sell Beyblades and their parts to BEGA associated Beybladers only, otherwise they will not be allowed to run the shops.
Tyson and the team find some parts at Max's father's store, which are insufficient. Then after sometime Kenny comes with the solution, he makes a new type of Beyblades known as hard metal Beyblades, using a different type of parts. But they still needed one more blader, that's when Kai, who tried to join BEGA but lost severely to Brooklyn, disbanded the Blitzkrieg Boys and rejoined the team now known as the G Revolutions. Additionally during the BEGA qualifying matches Kai's former teammates, Spencer and Bryan of the Blitzkrieg Boys defeat a BEGA Training squad but lose easily to a mysterious blader known as Garland Siebald. Tala, the leader of the Blitzkrieg Boys who was previously the final boss in season 1, takes on Garland but lost the match and was seriously injured after Garland activated his attack, Radiant Thunder and ended the match. Daichi and Ray lose the first two matches to Ming-Ming and Crusher only proving that their hard metal blades were also no match for their powerful blades. Max ends the third match with Mystel in a draw. Then it is Kai's turn.He chooses unbeaten Brooklyn as his Opponent. Kai defeats Brooklyn in that match. Then Tyson beats Garland. Brooklyn becomes insane due to his loss to Kai and start having nightmares about Kai.After that,he confronts Tyson. In the ensuing match, Tyson and Brooklyn battle it out in the tie-breaker match. As the final fight rages on, Tyson is able to absorb the powers of every single bit-beast and with a final attack defeats Brooklyn's, Beyblade Zeus. And the BEGA corporation had fallen thanks to the efforts of the Bladebreakers (G-Revolutions). The episode ends with Tyson and Kai to have one final match.
In the Japanese version, the episode ends with a special ending showing every major character from the series.
Beyblade Rising[edit]
Chapter 1[edit]
Tyson and Kai battle one last time before Kai goes to London with Tyson releasing his storm but that didn't work on Kai and the match ends with Tyson being defeated. Meanwhile, Ray wins a regional tournament but isn't happy that Tyson hasn't participated.
Chapter 2[edit]
Kai returns to Japan after completing his studies. Tyson comes to know about this and tries to meet Kai, but when he reaches there he finds that Kai has left beyblading and is now controlling his grandfather's company. Tyson is shocked to hear this. He understands that Kai is abandoning his passion just to keep his grandpa, Voltaire's will. Tyson makes Kai understand and listen to his inner voice. Voltaire at last understands his mistake and allows Kai to carry on his journey. Tyson challenges Kai for a beybattle. Kai is about to be defeated when he uses his beyblading skills and defeats Tyson. Tyson and others are shocked but he is glad to find his friend back to action.

Joe all of which are owned by Hasbro and released through Paramount. The film will be produced by Mary Parent through her Disruption Entertainment banner.[7]
Merchandise[edit]
Beyblade developed a cult following when the series' popular spinning top toy was launched worldwide. Now with the released fourth season of the Metal Fight Beyblade series, Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G, aka Beyblade Shogun Steel, a toy line which consists of Beyblades from the anime including Samurai Ifraid W145CF, MSF Shinobi Saramanda SW145SD, MSF Pirates Orojya 145D, Thief Phoenix E230GCF, Guardian Reviser 160SB, MSF Archer Gryph C145S, Pirates Killerken A230JSB, and many more are being released in Asia.
Beyblade, Let It Rip! The Official Album was released in the UK to coincide with the show's popularity. It featured the anime's opening theme, as well as songs by artists including Nickelback and Busted.
Toys[edit]
Originally developed and manufactured by Takara Tomy, first released in 2000. The toys include a 'launcher' – a device for bringing the spinning top up to speed in a plastic arena known as a Beystadium, with a slightly dished base, where they subsequently strike each other. The last top still spinning wins. Beyblade is largely a game of power and angle,[citation needed] although many players believe a particular launch style can influence the outcome of a game.
Reception[edit]
Common Sense Media described the series as a 'formulaic toy-inspired series [that] has some good messages.'[8] Don Houston of DVD Talk wrote, 'The show is just one long repetitive commercial, and not a well made commercial at that.'[9]

An unknown blader arrives by plane, seemingly in search of somebody to challenge. He walks into the arena during the final battle and interrupts Yu and Tsubasa's battle. The anonymous Blader's bey Ray Striker stops Earth Eagle and Flame Libra from striking each other. Fortunately, all Beyblades are still spinning inside the stadium. Tsubasa calls back his Earth Eagle, uninterested by this new challenger, however Yu takes up his request for a beybattle. He soon finds out that Ray Striker can skirt around his opponent at a moment's notice; seemingly able to teleport before it can be attacked. Flame Libra gets buried into the stadium floor after Ray Striker delivers a powerful blow. Yu does not give up yet, but the new blader, Masamune Kadoya, figures that he has simply won and, ignoring Yu, he calls for Gingka in the arena. Blader DJ tells him that Gingka is not present right now, that he is away in the mountains. Determined to find his real opponent, Masamune goes to find him. Ryo, now the director and manager of the WBBA, chuckles at Masamune's behavior, while Hikaru, his secretary, is mostly surprised. He stops laughing when Masamune starts calling after Gingka though. Ryo asks Hikaru if she plans on going back to Beyblading, however she is too traumatised by her shattering defeat against Ryuga. On his part, Ryo wonders out loud if it is not time for Phoenix to return, as he poses as a super hero. Meanwhile, Madoka and Kenta meet with Gingka at a restaurant to tell him to hurry so they can take a bus to Koma Village. There, Hokuto and Hyoma join them to go on a search for the legendary Beyblade: Galaxy Pegasus. They have to go through scorching hot sceneries and cold wintery mountains to find it. They finally reach a lukewarm waterfall, but the opening of the cave that is supposed to be where Galaxy Pegasus is most likely hidden. Since Gingka has no Beyblade now, Hyoma and Kenta take out theirs and the opening is revealed. On the walls of the cavern are prehistoric drawings of men, horses, and Beyblades. All of a sudden, they reach the end of the cave where a huge block of rock stands, a Beyblade imprisoned in its centre. Kenta and Hyoma try to use their Beyblades again to dislodge the new Legend-based Bey, but the rock does not even sport scratches from their attack. While everybody is shocked, Gingka walks towards the block to stand in front of it. Suddenly, rays of light come out of the Beyblade's Face Bolt. Intrigued, Gingka reaches towards it with his hand, and the Beyblade as well as his whole body light up in a blue aura. He takes hold of the bey, and cracks begin to appear in the rocky cocoon, making the bey shine brightly. Gingka gets seemingly transported in an illusion where he is in a galaxy. A rain of stars start showering around him and Pegasus finally advances towards him. Gingka is so happy to see it that tears appear in his eyes. The two meet and touch, signaling the reunion of two allies. Galaxy Pegasus can now be removed from the block of rock, and an overwhelming light shoots from Galaxy Pegasus into the universe, in the direction of the Pegasus Constellation. Gingka is very eager to test his new Beyblade, so they all exit the cave and he gets to a place where he can target a pillar of rock. As soon as he launches it, he gets pulled backwards by the force of his Beyblade, and the rock gets completely destroyed. Even though he is shocked by this power, Gingka is ecstatic to know that he owns a Beyblade again. Out of nowhere, Masamune appears and challenges him. They start fighting and Gingka wins easily, but Galaxy Pegasus gets out of control.

Masamune jumps incredibly high from the rock he had been standing onto and lands behind Gingka, Madoka, Kenta, Hyoma, and Hokuto. Doubting his credibility, the group of friends crouch to make a cocus about him. Masamune gets irritated and runs towards Gingka. Both of them begin to talk back to each other heatedly, and both end up wanting to battle the other. They go to a man-made hole in the ground that will serve as a stadium. Both launch and Gingka's Galaxy Pegasus quickly starts showing its untamed strength. At one point, it decides to go straight into the walls of the Beystadium, making big explosions of dirt. One of the rocks it destroys though lands back on its Face, making it immobile while still spinning. Masamune sees this opportunity to strike, however Galaxy Pegasus starts emitting blue light and seems to explode in a huge fireball. The rock on top of it disintegrates in the explosion and Galaxy Pegasus has enough time to nonchalantly hit Ray Striker backwards at full force, knocking it way out of the stadium. Masamune runs after it. After searching a lot, he finds it in a river, stuck to a surfacing rock, so he plunges into the water to get it. He is happy to have got his Beyblade back and he is still ready to fight Gingka again, but he soon notices that standing in the water has made his back cold. At the other location, Gingka grabs his new Beyblade in his hand, and he observes it silently while the others cheer for him. After a moment, he faces them and expresses his irritation at not being able to control Galaxy Pegasus at all. He won, however he felt no passion in his play, and therefore he is very upset by his performance and he knows he has to practice more with Pegasus all over again. At the train station, Hokuto and Hyoma stay behind, but they encourage Gingka by giving him wise words, also inviting him to come back whenever he wants. Unknown to them, Masamune is also in the train with them, eating some weird spicy orange sticks. At the basement of the B-Pit, Madoka analyses Galaxy Pegasus with her machine and they discover that it is a strong combination of Attack-type parts. In the middle of their discussion, a voice calls for them from upstairs, searching for Gingka. As they reach the first floor, they see Masamune standing at the door of the hobby shop. Masamune challenges him and Gingka accepts his challenge, and a huge explosion beats Masamune's Ray Striker. Still unhappy about his control of Galaxy Pegasus, Gingka gets some help from Kenta with another beybattle. Masamune keeps coming back after running after his Bey several times, but unexpected explosions happen every time. Eventually, they battle on the riverside, and the fight is slightly longer than usual. Gingka believes for an instant that he has mastered Galaxy Pegasus, however the latter suddenly decides to send Ray Striker straight into the hill, where an explosion is triggered again and Ray Striker stops spinning. Gingka slowly and sadly walks to take his Beyblade and Masamune runs past him to get his. He promises Gingka that he will come back stronger, and he flees. Kenta decides to run after him. He eventually thinks that he has lost him when he reaches the old warehouses that the Face Hunters used to inhabit, but he hears noise at one door. Entering, he discovers that Masamune is practicing with Ray Striker by having it swiftly dodge big chunks of wood that swing left and right. Just as Ray Striker moves too slowly and gets knocked away by one of them, Kenta makes his presence known, scaring Masamune. Ray Striker hits the far wall and stops spinning. Masamune aggressively asks Kenta what he is doing there, and Kenta refuses to leave. After some arguing, they decide to establish peace and help each other. Masamune offers some of his orange stick food to Kenta, the latter who did not expect it to be so spicy in his mouth starts feeling the spice. While Masamune takes one in his mouth casually, Kenta struggles to speak to him now that his tongue and lips are burnt. Eventually, they both go to meet Gingka at a construction site, where a hole in the ground still represents a stadium for them. A pile of small rocks lies on one side of it. The battle begins excitedly, and Galaxy Pegasus already starts moving around in a circle. Masamune knows how to counter the attacks though: he either makes his blade quickly turn away from the hits, or Ray Striker simply teleports. It is even able to change directions completely in a mere second. Ray Striker succeeds in striking Galaxy Pegasus and forcing it back into the pile of rock, which falls on Gingka's beyblade, burying it. Masamune catches his Beyblade back, knowing he has finally won against his rival. Gingka grimly walks to take his Pegasus too and after concentrating a lot, he comes to find the real strength of Galaxy Pegasus and succeeds in forming a bond with it. Satisfied with this, Gingka wants to test his new performance and they all see how extremely powerful Gingka now is. Gingka asks Masamune if he wants to battle again now that he controls his Pegasus, but Masamune, not blind at all to the power he just witnessed, firmly refuses, figuring out that he has already won once against Gingka and that this is enough for him, that Gingka will never be able to beat him again. Both begin another argument, of course. Standing on a construction vehicle not far away, a new Chinese Blader calls out for them.
3 | 54 | 'A New Challenge' Transcription: 'Aratanaru chousen' (Japanese: 新たなる挑戦) | April 18, 2010 | July 27, 2011 (AUS)[citation needed] August 20, 2011 (USA)
Masamune and Gingka do several childish challenges to see who is better: for instance, who can stand on his hands the longest, who can hold his breath the longest, etc. Benkei, Kenta, and Madoka are completely flabbergasted about their attitudes. Gingka and Masamune continuously argue. Suddenly, they hear a 'gong' sound being done repeatedly. They turn around and see a Chinese girl at the door of the B-Pit. As she enters, she greets everybody, and Gingka introduces himself. The girl immediately looks up and starts asking Masamune and Benkei if they are Gingka, until the latter reminds her of his identity. She gravely tells them about an invitation the Chinese team has for them; they have to meet up in Chinatown. Once she has left, they meet Benkei and they all salivate at the thought that there is going to be a lot of delicious Chinese food there, so they hurry to Chinatown. After much trouble understanding the location in the invitation, they finally arrive to a temple. The doors are locked, so they impatiently wait. Without warning, the doors suddenly open. the hungry boys run inside, and only see the four inner walls and three doors. Two Beybladers, including Mei Mei, the Chinese girl who had invited them to Chinatown, come out of the main one, and Gingka and his friends are surprised to see such a small boy at Mei Mei's side who apparently holds some authority over her. They learn that they were invited to a battle against the both of them and while Gingka was particularly targeted, he has to fight with Masamune on his side, which of course begins a new argument between them. Benkei also complains because he really wanted Chinese food, and Chi-yun Li, the short Blader, grants his wishes by presenting two chefs just waiting for him. Benkei hurriedly runs to them while the match begins. The two new Bladers are used to Blading as a tag team, unlike Masamune and Gingka, therefore they easily avoid Galaxy Pegasus and Ray Striker's hits. Instead, they make the two Beys clash at each other, which creates even more frustration between Masamune and Gingka. Chi-yun invokes powerful attacks that push the beyblades away with his free-rotation Spin Track. Eventually, after many arguments and failures, Gingka and Masamune succeed in trapping Thermal Lacerta, Chi-yun's Beyblade. unfortunately, as the result of the hit--after the flash has disappeared--is that all three Beys are still spinning, but Mei Mei's Aquario 105F has somehow been ejected from the stadium. This ends the match since the Chinese team basically lost, and Gingka and Masamune get into another fight, criticising each other's performance on the battle. The two Chinese tell them that they will see each other again. Meanwhile, Ryo and Hikaru realize how many people around the world are beyblading, and Ryo gets an interesting idea: the WBBA will organise a tournament reuniting Beybladers from every region of the world.

The World Beyblade Championships, a competition hosted by the WBBA is beginning. The Japanese qualifier for the tournament starts and the majority of the rounds are over very quickly with Masamune, Tsubasa, Yu, and Kyoya all making it to the semi-finals. Yu desperately tries to face Masamune but Kenta battles him instead and loses. Yu then proceeds to face Masamune but time is up before they can even start. Because Gingka won Battle Bladers he is automatically selected as Japan's first representative. Gingka doesn't know this until Kenta tells him. He goes to his father and pleads with him to let him battle. Gingka then launches Galaxy Pegasus and it goes around a chair leg and Gingka says that battling alone isn't fun. In the first semi-final match, Yu faces off with Masamune. Their Beys clash in battle as Yu gains the upper hand with his Flame Libra against Masamune's Ray Striker. Despite this, Masamune fights back and eventually defeats Yu, making Masamune one of Japan's representatives to the World Beyblade Championships. Kyoya and Tsubasa ready their beys and then the battle begins! Kyoya is determined to win and attacks Tsubasa's bey. Just as Tsubasa seems about to lose, the dark power from his previous battle with Ryuga overwhelms him. Tsubasa's pet eagle was what let Tsubasa control his dark side again. the harsh cry of the eagle brought him back to the reality of the battle. After Kyoya refused the offer to join the Japanese team, Gingka is left wondering why. Meanwhile Hikaru and Ryo consider who will replace Kyoya, Ryo considers Tsubasa and Yu. Yu, Kenta and Masamune are eating in a cafe in a shopping centre. Yu complains loudly to anyone who will listen about how even if he wins against Tsubasa, he'll only be the sub member of the team. Madoka then rushes up to them and announces if Yu wins his match he will become the last regular member. Yu is overjoyed by the news and warns Masamune not to interfere in this match with Tsubasa, Masamune becoming very confused at this. Elsewhere, Tsubasa is sitting by a fire, thinking over his match with Kyoya. His eagle friend cries out, making ripples appear over the surface of the water in the mug he is holding. Tsubasa ponders over this. The next day, Tsubasa and Yu face each other in battle, Yu complaining he'd had enough of Masamune talking like he was above him. Tsubasa uses tactics to stop Yu from firing Libra's special move, and pulls it off. As Tsubasa already knows how to break through this special move, victory looks to be his. At the last moment, Yu changes the frequency of the move, making it shine different colours, and stops Tsubasa's attack. Instead of fighting back, Tsubasa gives up resistance, allowing him to counter the special move and win the match. Gingka though is still disappointed by Kyoya, until that night Kenta and Benkei confront him about it, resulting in a battle that Madoka spectates. At the airport, the team are all excited for the tournament except Yu, who is still complaining about only being the sub. Benkei tries to encourage Yu to look on the bright side of this, just as Madoka turns up to be their support member as she now works for the WBBA. Ryo announces the team's name is Gan Gan Galaxy and will be flying out to China. Gingka comments the name suits them perfectly, whilst Masamune complains it only suits Gingka perfectly. The five board the plane, whilst all their friends wave them off with their beys.

As Masamune undergoes training, he launches Ray Striker into a pillar of rock. He is successfully able to break it into pieces but hears someone screaming. He runs to see and then finds an elderly man who appears to be hurt. Masamune asks what is wrong with him, as the man replies his stomach is grumbling for food. Masamune lets the man eat some food but eventually eats all of his food and his water. He later finds out his Ray Striker did not hurt the man, much to Masamune's dismay. Meanwhile, Chao Xin is busy signing autographs for his many fangirls. His fangirls are very confident that Chao Xin will win in the first battle of the World Beyblade Championships. Chao Xin has a flashback of his earlier battle and remembers how hard it was to defeat Masamune, but he remains confident. Later, the man brings Manasmune to a bamboo forest. He tells him to crush a small leaf with his fists, which Masamune does. However, he does not crush through it, just pushes it away into the air, The man tells him he has to focus his strength into one point in order to crush through the leaf. Masamune understands this and focus his power into one point to crush the leaf. The World Beyblade Championships have begun as Team Gan Gan Galaxy and Team Wang Hu Zhong take center stage. The first battle will be between Masamune and Chao Xin. Masamune appears very confident despite losing to Chao Xin before. The two ready their Beyblades as they Let it Rip and battle. Masamune's Ray Striker faces off between Chao Xin's Virgo. The Beys clash in an epic battle as they continue to hit each other. Soon enough however, Masamune learns that Chao Xin has customized his Virgo, into a Poison Virgo, making it even harder for Masamune to win the battle. Despite this, Masamune fights back and eventually breaks off one blade off Poison Virgo. Chao Xin is shocked at this, and struggles to fight back, as his fangirls are very confused at how Chao Xin could let this occur. Chao Xin takes off his jacket and starts to finally focus and concentrate in his battle. Despite Chao's best efforts, Poison Virgo is now unbalanced due to Ray Striker breaking one of the blades on the Poison Wheel and eventually loses, as Masamune has finally defeated Chao Xin in their rematch. Despite the loss, Chao Xin's fangirls cheer on him as Chao Xin does not care if he lost, making Masamune angry since more people were cheering for Chao Xin, who lost, instead of him, but on the other hand, Team Gan Gan Galaxy cheer and hug Masamune on his win. As the finals of the World Beyblade Championships that will decide which Team: Gan Gan Galaxy or Wang Hu Zhong, will head to the second round of the Championships. Gan Gan Galaxy rests before the battle while Tsubasa us nervous for what happened in the previous battle. His teammates however, assure him that everything is ok and are sure Gingka will get them to the second round. For Wang Hu Zhong however, Chi-yun trains himself even harder despite winning in the previous match. Dashan's teammates are confident enough to know that Dashan will lead them to the second round. As Gan Gan Galaxy walk to their match, they are confronted by Wang Hu Zhong and the Beyline Temple Bladers. They tell Gan Gan Galaxy that Dashan will for sure, win the battle as the tradition of the 4,000 Year-Old Beylin Temple goes. Although this tempts Gingka, he is confident that he will win. The match begins as Gingka and Dashaun ready their Beyblades and Let it Rip. Gingka tries to be careful this time, as he does not want to lose to Dashan like in their last battle. Gingka makes sure that Pegasus doesn't hit Zurafa too hard as Zurafa's R145 Spin Track will only absorb those hits. Instead, Gingka uses small hits so the rubber will not absorb them. Dashan however, knows this will not do much and attacks Pegasus, launching with a Special Move. It hits Pegasus so hard, it seems that Pegasus will have no chance to win and will take another loss. Gingka tries to make sure not to let this happen and strikes back, but to no avail. In the heat of the battle, Gingka decides that he will have no chance to defeat Dashan and his confidence is broken. However, Gingka's friends; Kenta, Benkei, and Kyoya, encourage Gingka to not give up and this reawakens Gingka as he fights back. In one final epic clash, Pegasus and Zurafa hit each other with so much power an explosion appears. After the mist from it is cleared, it is shown that Zurafa has stopped spinning, giving Pegasus the win and thus, entry to the second round of the World Beyblade Championships. Dashan, disappointed for losing the match knows he broke the 4,000 Year-Old Tradition of the Beylin Temple. His teammates however, tell him that even though he lost, he did not break the tradition and that the tradition is still going. Gingka's teammates praise Gingka for winning the match and are glad that they are moving on to the second round. Now, they will head to Russia, for the second match of the World Beyblade Championships.

After the match where GanGan Galaxy defeated Wang Hu Zhong and moved to the second round, Benkei is just about to board a plane. After he says his goodbyes to all the friends he made, he boards the plane and heads for an unknown destination. Elsewhere, a young man is seen riding a horse on a rich estate. He then rides the horse into a first-class helicopter and enters it. He then receives his Launcher and Beyblade. As Gan Gan Galaxy are on their plane heading to Arabia, to find out about Team Desert Blaze, Gingka remembers how before they boarded their flight, Dashan told Gingka that he must win the World Beyblade Championships, for the honour of the Beylin Temple. Gingka assures this as Dashan tells him how the rest of Wang Hu Zhong are training in order to become more powerful. As the team arrives, they find out about Team Desert Blaze, the Arabic Representative Team. They meet up with Desert Blaze and are amazed at how much power the Team holds. Being able to summon the Beasts and combine them in order to win a battle. Desert Blaze find Gan Gan Galaxy and have a chat with them. The two Teams discuss their place in the World Championships and are very eager to face one another in an upcoming match. Desert Blaze, which consists of Gasur, and two other Bladers are also eager to face them. The two teams make friends as Gan Gan Galaxy waits to see Desert Blaze's match against the EU Representative, Team Excalibur. As Gan Gan Galaxy walks along a sidewalk, they find the young man earlier on from the episode, getting out of a limo, appearing to look very wealthy as he enters a building. Gan Gan Galaxy are confused by this but decide to ignore it, knowing it will not have any importance. Finally, the match between Desert Blaze and Excalibur is about to begin. Gasur and the others take stage as Excalibur does also. However, there is only one Blader from Excalibur, the young man, Julian Konzern. This shocks Gan Gan Galaxy, not expecting to see him here and surprised at how only one representative from the EU Team showed up. Julian appears to be very confident, despite being in a 3 vs. 1 match. Desert Blaze are confident they will win as Julian and Gasur ready their Beyblades for the first round and Let it Rip. The battle goes off to a great start as Gasur seems very confident in his battle. However, when he attacks Julian's Bey, it does not seem to have any effect. Madoka analyzes this and finds out something shocking, Julian's Bey, 'Gravity Destroyer', has a very thick Fusion Wheel and a unique Energy Ring that serves as a 'helmet' to the Fusion Wheel, which is why the attacks of Gasur do not affect Destroyer. Julian then hears a mystic melody and cannot take it anymore, he soon tells the story of the hero, 'Destroyer'. A hero that slayed the evil Medusa by cutting off her head and using it against anyone. Anyone who stared at Medusa's eyes turned to stone. Soon enough however, Destroyer switches from Defense Mode, to 'Counter Mode' which feature red dots on the Fusion Wheel, meant to represent the 'eyes' of Medusa. As Destroyer closes in, Gasur's Bey is stopped and then hit out of the Stadium by Destroyer as it shocks the audience. Gasur's teammates take the stage for round two as they take on Julian on 2 vs. 1, already knowing his tricks. Despite this, Destroyer suddenly spins to the left, shocking everyone, especially Gingka. Gingka along with his friends arrives in Greece to try to get into the Festival of Warriors, however, Madoka just wants to see the scenery so, as there is still time for the Festival to begin, they decide to visit the beach. There, Masamune notices a girl standing on the edge of a high cliff and they try to save her, Madoka hears them running and shouting and follows them. The girl then explains that she wants to become an archaeologist and is looking for ruins of a sunken Greek ship. She uses her Beyblade to successfully locate the ship by using it to move the water. Later when they are eating at a restaurant, they discuss who that girl might be, and Yu comments that she could be one of the EU representatives. Suddenly, they hear a commotion, and a Blader challenges another Blader called Wales, who is from England, to a Beybattle. Wales accepts, and tells him that he shall give him three seconds of his time. The Beybattle lasts for only three seconds and Wales breaks the opponents Beyblade with one hit. Gingka and co. are amazed at how he was able to do that and question the possibility of him being an EU representative. Later, when they try to get into the Festival of Warriors, they are denied access because they are not EU Members. Wales comes out, and the girl from earlier comes out afterwards and reveals her name to be Sophie. Later, Gingka and co. decide to sneak in and watch from a gap in the pillars, however, when Gingka pushes Masamune too much, they all end up falling in and get caught. They then get into huge trouble and a few Bladers representing their countries challenge them for breaking in and lose. Wales and Sophie then declare that they will battle them and Yu comments that he wants to battle as well and Julian comes out and says that he will battle against them, making it a three on three battle between Julian, Sophie and Wales, and Gingka, Masamune and Yu. The EU Bladers then reveal their Beys and where they are from: Wales announces that he is representing England and has the Blue Grand Cetus, Sophie announces that she is representing France and has the White Grand Cetus, and Julian announces that he is the team leader and is representing Italy. When the battle starts Wales and Sophie protect Gravity Destroyer. Yu then uses two of his Special Moves but Sophie stops them and defeats Yu with ease. Sophie and Wales then use their Special Moves and then their Dual Special Move. During their Team Move, Masamune gets an idea and breaks through their tidal wave using his Special Move, giving Gingka the chance to attack Gravity Destroyer. After their team lost to the EU team, Gingka, Masamune, Tsubasa and Yu decide to undergo intense teamwork training and decide to split into pairs. Tsubasa says that to decide the pairs, they will do rock-paper-scissors, to which the others agree. Tsubasa then says the 2 winners will be on one team and the 2 losers on the other. The first time is a tie. The second time is a tie. The third time is the same. After 7 ties Gingka says that that is useless. Madoka then uses straws to decide the pairs, which are: Gingka and Yu and Tsubasa and Masamune. Their battle eventually turns into a free-for-all 4-way battle. Hence they start getting on each other's nerves. This results in Madoka getting angry with them and says that the team is disbanded before storming off in fury. They try to apologize by bringing her a drink and a fruit basket, but she shuts the door on them, still furious with them. Later Wang Hu Zhong appear from nowhere and Dashan says that he hasn't seen faces that long in a while. Wang Hu Zhong then say they got into another tournament and that they are trying and get back into the World Championships as a wildcard. Chao Xin then tries to calm Madoka down, first startling her upon when she thought it was Gingka and the others again trying to apologize, then forcing his way in to speak with her privately, and does so successfully, convincing her to restore the team and restart the training. Wang Hu Zhong impress them by standing on top of each other on top of a ball on top of a rock in this order: Dashan, Chao Xin, Chi-yun and Mei-Mei. Wang Hu Zhong train them by firstly tieing a white ribbon around Tsubasa and Yu's ankles, and Gingka and Masamune's ankle. They then finish the team training with tag team battles: Gingka and Masamune vs Dashan and Chao Xin; Tsubasa and Yu vs. Chi-yun and Mei Mei. Gan Gan Galaxy them learn about teamwork. Then all 8 Special Moves are used and all 8 Beyblades are knocked out. Though the guys make Madoka believe they are going to squabble again and infuriate her once more to the point of disbanding the team again, Mei-Mei asks Madoka if she knows who they are playing next. Madoka then uses her computer to figure out who they are playing and says the winners of the match between Team Chandora and Team Wild Fang. Team Gan Gan Galaxy are relaxing together at a table, when Gingka asks Madoka to see who their next competitor will be. Madoka pulls up the information on her computer and it seems like it'll be Team Wild Fang. Madoka pulls up the names of the team members, Gingka and the group are surprised that the Team Leader is Kyoya, The scene changes. A lone cloaked figure, is traveling through a dry harsh landscape, dragging a coffin. He is stopped by a group of bladers who attempt to harass him. The group is provoked by the cloaked figure's silence and kick open the coffin revealing that it is full of rocks. The cloaked figure then jumps behind them and prepares to launch his bey, quickly defeating the group. The cloak's hood falls revealing that it is Kyoya. The group runs away. Kyoya continues dragging the coffin full of rocks, to a city where they are holding a tournament for the African Beyblade Team. The competing bladers are divided into three color groups and must battle in a battle royale style competition in order to earn a spot on the team. Competing Bladers, Demure and Marcus are competing in the same battle while Marcus's other friends are competing in different groups. As they prepare to launch their Beys, Marcus intentionally knocks into Demure, messing up his launch. Meanwhile, Kyoya is quickly clearing away the competitors. The remaining Bladers team up against Kyoya. Kyoya launches his special move, King Lion Tearing Blast and the remaining Beys are swept up in the tornadoes and out of the stadium eliminated. Nile is led into ambush and is close to being overwhelmed when Leone comes and evens out the playing field. Nile finishes off the rest of them. Demure is watching hiding behind a box. Kyoya and Nile meet up with Marcus who has been hiding in a bunker. Marcus invites them to hide with him. While hiding in the bunker, the door begins to open. Marcus convinces Kyoya and Nile to hide but it's a trick; Kyoya and Nile fall into a trap and are hanging onto the ledge. The bunker door opens and it is Marcus's friends who were defeated earlier. They take the bracelets from Kyoya and Nile and leave them behind. Kyoya and Nile slip and fall into the sewer system and eventually make it street level only to be met by Demure who challenges them to a Bey battle. However they reveal that they no longer have their bracelets and tell her of Marcus' treachery. Demure tells them he saw them headed for the mountains. They catch up to Marcus and his friends and engage in a Bey battle. Demure has exceptional eyesight and is able to analyze the opposing beys and advises Kyoya and Nile what is going on. They defeat the three and recover their bracelets along with taking Marcus's bracelet. Kyoya shoves the third bracelet at Demure and they face the new hordes of Bladers after their bracelets.

Gingka, Masamune, Madoka, Yu and Kenta are at the B-Pit speaking to team Wang Hu Zhong through video conferencing. They discuss Team Wild Fang and Wang Hu Zhong's upcoming wildcard match against Team Excalibur. Team Wang Hu Zhong tells them not to count them out yet, though Yu bluntly states they will probably lose to Excalibur. After wishing each other luck, they hang up and wonder about Tsubasa Otori's health. Meanwhile at the hospital, Tsubasa dreams that he is running from a dark force towards safety but before he can reach the light, he is overcome by the darkness that appears to take his form. He awakens in a panic. Later the Team and Hikaru visit him at the hospital. They discuss the previous match and Masamune brags that he won the round but also admits that Tsubasa and Yu also helped too. Gingka asks about his health, and Tsubasa is unable to answer, not knowing exactly what will happen now. Gingka then assures him that they will advance through the competition together. Tsubasa thanks Gingka and asks if their next competitor has been determined yet. The team starts discussing the wild card game between Team Wang Hu Zhong and Team Excaliber. Yu again states that he doesn't think Team Wang Hu Zhong will win. As this discussion goes on, Tsubasa hears a mysterious voice. He appears very confused to the others and Gingka inquires if he's okay. The voice tells Tsubasa to look over at the window and Tsubasa sees a reflection of himself speaking to him in the mysterious voice. Only Tsubasa is able to see it. It taunts him, asking him if he really thinks he's going to compete with the others. Then Tsubasa begins to have a burning pain in his chest. Hikaru rushes to get help. The others try to calm him down as he clutches his chest in pain. His reflection continues to taunt him saying that Tsubasa is his and that it has grown quite comfortable with his body. Tsubasa gets upset and smashes the window. The rest of the team barely manages to hold him then. Meanwhile at WBBA headquarters, Ryo is reviewing all of Tsubasa's past battles and realizes something. As he does, Hikaru interrupts to tell him that there's trouble at the hospital. He arrives as a sedated Tsubasa is being wheeled to another room for further testing. He speaks to the group and shows them footage from Battle Bladers of Ryuga when L Drago's dark power possessed him. Then he shows Tsubasa's battle a few days ago and the group is horrified to see the striking similarities. Ryo explains he believes during Tsubasa's battle with Ryuga at Battle Bladers, some of L Drago's dark energy flowed into him. In the Battle Bladers battle, Tsubasa was possessed by dark power for a few minutes. As they can see, the dark power is steadily growing and gaining more control over Tsubasa. Due to its danger and its growing power, Ryo has cut Tsubasa from the team. The others protest but Ryo won't budge. Finally, Yu quits the team and admonishes the others for not following suit in solidarity for Tsubasa. Ryo understands their feelings and assures them that the WBBA will use all its resources to help Tsubasa but admits that they know nothing about the dark power, letting Tsubasa and Yu come back on. Yu brings up Ryuga, and Ryo considers it. A mysterious figure on top of the Eiffel Tower grins.

Gingka, Masamune, Yu, Kenta, Madoka, and Hikaru all search for Tsubasa after his disappearance from the hospital. Everyone fails to locate him, including his pet eagle. Meanwhile, Team Excalibur fly home after their victory. Wales and Sophie dismiss the idea of Team Gan Gan Galaxy beating them, but Julian reminds them that Gingka and Masamune did manage to break through their special move and should not be underestimated. At the moment, the plane lands, but Julian chooses to ignore all the reporters waiting for them accept one who asks him why he chooses Beyblade over anything else. Upon returning home, Wales and Sophie battle against Klaus and defeat him. Klaus is impressed with their strength, but Wales and Sophie are still uneasy about Masamune breaking through their special move. Klaus smiles, saying he would like to battle Masamune, but they point out that Gan Gan Galaxy are yet to choose an order to battle in. They hear Julian practising the piano, and Wales remarks all the Konzern family are extremely talented. Back in Japan, it's been five days since Tsubasa's disappearance. As everyone reports to Ryo, Madoka worries about what could happen if Tsubasa's dark power runs wild whilst he's still missing. Ryo explains Hyoma is in the process of tracking Ryuga down, but Gingka wonders if Ryuga will listen to Hyoma, or anyone one of them for that matter. Masamune worries that Tsubasa won't turn up for their battle in Italy, but Yu reassures them Tsubasa will return for that. Meanwhile, Julian plays a piano at a concert. The audience appludes and wishes him luck in his next beyblade match. From up in the shadow of a curtain in the stands, a pair of golden-brown eyes watch Julian. Returning home, Julian takes Gravity Destroyer out into the forest while riding. His horse spooks as Tsubasa walks out of the bushes, demanding a battle. Julian recognises him as a member of Team Gan Gan Galaxy, and comments he didn't think it was the team's style to launch a surprise attack before a competition. Tsubasa explains he's come alone to battle and repeats his demand. They begin a battle, but the partially dark Tsubasa stops it and demands Julian to use reverse rotation. Reluctantly he agrees. However, just before they can begin, Wales and Sophie jump in and attack Earth Eagle. Just as it seems Eagle will lose, the dark power takes control of Tsubasa totally and sends Wales and Sophie's beys flying. Klaus questions what this dark power is, and Julian answers, claiming it must be some sort of evil presence. On a hill nearby, Ryuga watches the dark power, although merely comments: 'That's all then?' As the dark power runs wild, Tsubasa tries to take control again, explaining he only wanted to test his strength against the best in the world, who he believed to be Julian. The dark power confronts him, explaining it and Tsubasa are the same and that Tsubasa subconsciously created it. Tsubasa denies this, but the dark power taunts him and explains everyone has darkness in their hearts, including Tsubasa. Even so, Tsubasa regains control as Eagle runs wild, smashing into everything. Just before Wales and Sophie can take advantage and finish him off, Ryuga interrupts with his new bey: Meteo L-Drago LW105LF. Whilst L-Drago proceeds to damage both Cetus beys, Ryuga tells Tsubasa the dark power he possesses is a small fragment of it, the last fragment in existence. He goes on to explain that the original L-Drago had gained power and lost its natural strength from the evil people who had used it. Meteo L-Drago is the result of much hard training, the original power of L-Drago without human interference. As Tsubasa ponders over this, Ryuga tells him not to resist the dark power, instead to become one with it. Tsubasa is silenced as he wonders about this, meanwhile Ryuga proceeds to use L-Drago to hurt Wales and then go after Sophie. Before he can make contact, Julian gets in the way, complaining there has been enough destruction tonight. Ryuga notices Destroyer is a reverse-rotating bey, but comments the only true reverse-rotating bey is L-Drago. Julian disagrees, and Ryuga smiles as he tells Julian they will decide that later.

The episode begins with Klaus defeating Masamune in the first round and passing out after exhaustion. The second match begins with Tsubasa and Yu vs Wales and Sophie. The battle between Gingka and Ryuga continues and Meteo L-Drago is absorbing Galaxy Pegasus' strength. Gingka asks Ryuga does he do have the dark power, but Ryuga tells him that Meteo L-Drago is able do the same thing the dark power did. When Galaxy Pegasus gets trapped into the sand, Ryuga tells Gingka that he has not yet mastered its power. Tsubasa and Yu attack both Grand Cetus' but it has no effect. Tsubasa's dark power begins taunting him and takes him back to one of his memories where one of his rivals cheated in a battle as a kid. He loses control again and attacks both Cetus' and Yu's Flame Libra with Eagle's dark form. Yu then attacks Earth Eagle in order to bring Tsubasa back to normal. After Tsubasa and Yu defeat Wales and Sophie, it is the final match of the A-block finals between Gingka and Julian Konzern. Since his last battle with Ryuga, Gingka learned new strategies since Gravity Destroyer can be a left rotating bey. Gingka has a good start, but Destroyer's spin track is the strongest in the world. Julian uses the Eyes of Medusa to push Galaxy Pegasus down into the ground which would result in a sleep out, but Gingka will not back down. Using the light rubber flat performance tip and the spin track that goes in the other direction, he is able to increase its speed to defy the gravity and make a great hit to Destroyer. Gingka tries to go for the Star Booster Attack, but Destroyer counters with Black Excalibur. Gingka makes a memory of Ryuga's words, 'It seems that you have not yet mastered its powers now have you?'. He understands what he was saying and uses Pegasus's full power to make a new special move, Stardust Driver. Julian uses Black Excalibur a second time, but with Pegasus's new special move Stardust Driver, it breaks through Black Excalibur and once it made contact, Destroyer goes out of the stadium and Team Gan Gan Galaxy wins the A-block finals.

The winner will be the team with the most wins. Yu is the first one to battle for Team Gan Gan Galaxy. His opponent is Enzo and tells Yu that beyblade is life for the Garcia's and that Yu is just taking it as a joke. Masamune takes his place and defeats Enzo with his special move, Lightning Sword Flash. The next blader is Selen who keeps on distracting Masamune and defeats him. Gingka attempts to strike Ray Gasher but Selen's bey keeps dodging his attacks. She is successful but after some attempts Galaxy Pegasus successfully starts a series of attacks at Ray Gasher. Pegasus continues attacking and the power of Ray Gasher starts draining. Everybody starts to think that Gingka was going to win but then Selen told him that the fact is that she has never been defeated in a knockout battle before, not even once. But Gingka tells her that he is going to win but after hearing that the audience starts laughing at him. Gingka gets angry and takes an attempt to push Ray Gasher out of the stadium but Selen manages to escape. Gingka again tries to attack but Ray Gasher dodges every attack of his. Gingka asks Selen whether she even wanted to fight the battle but Selen replies that she does not have even the slightest desire to battle. She explains that her Ray Gasher does not have enough strength left for fighting so her policy is that when you can't fight, don't fight at all. She also says that this a knockout battle and when he can defeat her, he cannot face the next opponent. Tsubasa then calls out to Gingka and explains that she wanted to keep the match going until Pegasus's power is completely drained. Gasher then starts running away and Pegasus chases it and tries to attack it but Gasher dodges every attack of his. Then she says that she has been running her whole life since her childhood for her brothers. Pegasus is successful in doing one attack and it slows down Gasher. Pegasus attempts to attack once again to finish it off, but Gasher goes out of the stadium and lands on Selen's hand. Selen purposely withdraws from the game and remains undefeated. Selen then tells Gingka that she told him that she was never defeated by an opponent. Gingka gets angry that he got fooled by her. Ian tells Selen that she had done a great job but could have drained more of Pegasus's power. When Ian comes to the battle it is announced that the match was going to be a cyclone battle. All of team Gan Gan Galaxy members get shocked by that announcement because they never heard of a cyclone battle. Ian tells Gingka to prepare to face his Cyclone Herculeo in a cyclone battle. Ian asks Gingka whether he has the courage to accept the challenge. Gingka accepts and Ian launches his bey and both beys face off. Both beys are pushed away and Pegasus tries to strike Cyclone Herculeo but it dodges. Ian waited for the right time and when the time had come, it went to the cyclone point that rotated very fast. Ian said that it was just the beginning and he launched a cyclone attack at Pegasus and was set flying but managed to escape. Gingka goes into the cyclone point and tries to the cyclone attack but the cyclone point does not move. Ian tells him that he has to go there at the right time, only then it will work. Pegasus gets stuck in the cyclone point and Herculeo attacks him with his special move Blazer Slash. Pegasus is set flying again but narrowly escapes. Pegasus becomes really weak due to the damage taken and battles Herculeo but it goes back to the cyclone point. Now, Gingka wanted to send Herculeo flying but the cyclone point started to spin again. Gingka got shocked that it is working for Ian but not for him. Herculeo again launches a cyclone attack at Pegasus but escapes again. Ian says that he used to battle in a cyclone stadium ever since he was a little kid and remembers the cyclone time. Both beys clash again and Herculeo again enters the cyclone point and launches a cyclone attack, but Pegasus survives again. Herculeo again goes for the cyclone point but this time Pegasus interrupts and it goes into the cyclone point. Gingka says that it is now his turn and tries to use cyclone attack, but Herculeo goes into the sky and attacks Pegasus from above, crushing Gingka's plan. Then Gingka finds out a way to stop a cyclone attack. Herculeo goes for another cyclone attack, but Pegasus goes into the air. Gingka thanks Ian for showing him how to stop a cyclone attack. Pegasus uses Star Booster Attack to hit Herculeo and the cyclone point gets destroyed. Herculeo ends up in a stadium out and Gingka wins. Ray Gil suddenly comes into the battle when Gingka was rejoicing and Pegasus is out. Argo says that it was a knockout match with no breaks and he should not have let his guard down.

After beating Cyclone Herculeo, Gingka rejoices, only to be surprise-attacked by Argo. Tsubasa jumps in, and believes it to be an easy match since he defeated the dark power. But the power of Ray Gil's the Rubber Semi-Flat performance tip allows Tsubasa's Earth Eagle to be rapidly attacked. Ray Gil's clearwheel also prevents Tsubasa's use of aerial attacks. Argo only makes the situation worse, taunting Tsubasa so much that he nearly lets the dark power come over him again. Tsubasa feels the same pain as the Garcia's, seeing as he had to overcome the dark power gained from his battle with Ryuga earlier. Through the motivation and help of Gingka, Yu, Masumune, and Madoka allows Tsubasa to defeat Argo by finding a weak-spot between Ray Gil's metal wheel and performance tip. Using his special move Shining Tornado Buster, Tsubasa finally defeats Argo leading Team Gan-Gan Galaxy to the championships, much to Argo's dismay. Elsewhere, Ryuga is pursued by five mysterious guys. They corner him, but instead of using his launcher Ryuga launches Meteo L-Drago with his hand. As the five guys think he's crazy, they launch their beys. Because of L-Drago's spin-stealing capabilities, the bey gains spin and defeats all five beys with ease. Another mysterious person wearing a hood and a cloak outfit interrupts the match (later revealed to be Jack), and Ryuga comments that he might actually be able to put up a fight.

Team Gan Gan Galaxy arrives in New York shortly after their battle with Team Garcia. Masamune runs off to go look for Toby. The rest of the team and Kenta go around the city before finding Masamune. Toby was not at the hospital he was in and Masamune goes to the Dungeon Gym to find out where he is. Coach Steel tells Masamune that Zeo has moved him to a hospital but doesn't know where. Masamune tells his friends about his history with Toby and Zeo. Zeo appears then and brings Masamune and the others to the old training lot. The two friends catch up, and Zeo tells Masamune how he went to train at HD Academy. Zeo gives Masamune the address to the hospital Toby's in now and then battles him. Zeo's bey, Flame Byxis has a tall spin track, making it hard to attack the fusion wheel. Masamune's Ray Striker delivers blows to Byxis despite the height of the spin track. Both Zeo and Masamune are about to call out their special moves but then stop them so that Toby will be able to watch the battle. Masamune and the others go back to Dungeon Gym and are then asked to battle with several bladers. Zeo is shown watching Team Gan Gan Galaxy and says darkly that he will never forgive Masamune.

Masamune meets up with Toby and they take a look back into the past to when they met. Back then Masamune had just arrived from Japan and was looking for a bey-battle but nobody was available. Masamune found a bey-gym and went in meeting Zeo and Toby and also joined the gym. Zeo told both Masamune and Toby about a new bey-park opening up and to meet him there the next day. Zeo and Masamune both meet there but Toby is late, right before they start a battle with bladers from Team Gold-Bank and they are challenged to a battle. Vince is facing Masamune and when Masamune seems to become a threat to him the other two join in to try to destroy Masamune's Ray Striker. Zeo joins in to save Masamune but is blown away in one hit, Toby arrives and stops the battle and tells Team Gold-Bank to really battle them at the local tournament. Both teams make it to the finals and Masamune and Vince are facing-off, Masamune thinks there is no hope but when Toby reminds him they have to become #1 he miraculously defeats Vince. Masamune tells Toby to cheer for whoever he wants and challenge the winner so they can decide who is number 1. Zeo is seen training outside and gets a call from the HD Academy and is told to go there. During that time Gingka, Masamune, and Kenta are off to the Dungeon Gym and they start a battle with everybody from the gym in it while Madoka, Tsubasa, and Yu are fixing Flame Libra and Earth Eagle. At HD Academy, Ryuga is battling training beys from the academy, he launches his bey with his hand and then uses Meteo L-Drago's spin stealing capability to win the battle. After the battle, Zeo is talking to Dr. Ziggurat about facing Ryuga to see the power of Meteo L-Drago and use that power to make the arrange system even better than it currently. Zeo tells him that he wants to battle Ryuga without using the arrange system. Ryuga tells Jack to come battle him, but can't because his bey is not complete. Zeo enters the room and blames him and Gingka for making Masamune leave. Their battle start and Meteo L-Drago can't steal Flame Byxis spin power because of the spin track height. Ryuga tries to have Meteo L-Drago attack from above but Flame Byxis starts controlling its movement. Meteo L-Drago sends Flame Byxis crashing into the stadium. Zeo tries to use his special move but it wouldn't work. Ryuga uses his special move, Dragon Emperor Supreme Flight, and blasts Flame Byxis out of the stadium. After the battle, Dr. Ziggurat tells Ryuga that he owns the Dark Nebula to send him to Koma Village to get Lightning L-Drago and control its dark power but failed. After he failed, he created the arrangement system to make bladers reach their limits. He even brought him to the academy to observe him. Ryuga gets angry and destroys the room with Meteo L-Drago, leaving HD Academy and Ziggurat saying he won't let him escape.

Zeo screams Toby's name and remembering the time he met him to Masamune leaving to beat Gingka to become number 1. Dr. Ziggurat stops the arrange system because Zeo couldn't handle the pain anymore after 80%. He tells Zeo to after Ryuga until Damian finishes his arranging. Madoka finishes fixing Earth Eagle and Flame Libra for Tsubasa and Yu. Gingka and the others go to the sports arena so Tsubasa and Yu can test out Eagle and Libra. At the arena Masamune spots Zeo and follows him with Gingka chasing him. At the park they see Ryuga being circled around by him and HD Bladers. Zeo tells Ryuga to come back to HD Academy or he'll bring him by force. Ryuga tells him to go on but Masamune interferes and is about to challenge him but Zeo tells him to stay out of it. He also tells Masamune that he's done living in his shadow and challenges him to a battle. Damian finishes his arrangement and Dr. Zigurrat tells him to go help find Ryuga. Masamune and Zeo's battle start and Zeo uses his real power which shocks Masamune and Gingka. Ryuga tells him that it's the arrangement system and is challenged by the HD Bladers. He defeats them by using the power of Meteo L-Drago and tells Gingka to watch for the U.S. team while leaving. Zeo's Flame Byxis continues to attack Ray Striker until Gingka enters the battle. Masamune tells Gingka to stay out it but Zeo continues to attack. He says enter HD Academy to get back at Masamune and uses his special move, Destiny Needle. It starts to control Galaxy Pegasus and Ray Striker to make to crash into each other. Masamune asked him what happened and Zeo told him that Toby's sickness got worse after he left. He also said he met Dr. Ziggurat one day and joined HD Academy in order to put Toby into a better hospital. At the sports arena, Damian looks for Ryuga but can't find him. Tsubasa asks him who is he and Damian tells him he's from Team Star Breaker. He asks Tsubasa and Yu to help him test out his bey, Hades Kerbecs, and unleashes powerful energy that Gingka and Masamune can see. Zeo stops the battle after finding out Damian has finished his arrangement. He tells Masamune that he will defeat him in the finals and become number 1. Klaus is taken to the hospital after the battle with Jack. Before the next match starts, Damian asks Julian for a two out of three match because Gravity Destroyer can rotate both ways. Julian accepts and Dr. Ziggurat likes it because he needs data on a left-spinning bey since Ryuga escaped from him. the match starts with Julian using right rotation and Hades Kerbecs sends Gravity Destroyer into the air. Kerbecs begins to get the upper hand on Destroyer, but Julian switches to Counter Mode and uses the eyes of Medusa to stop its gravity. Hades Kerbecs isn't affected by it and attacks Gravity Destroyer. Julian uses his special move, Gravity Brave, and begins Destroyer begins to shoot gravity arrows at Kerbecs. Damian makes Hades Kerbecs stop and is hit by Gravity Brave, but still has no effect on it. Damian says he's done with Destroyer's right rotation and uses his special move, Hades Drive, winning the first match. Julian picks up Gravity Destroyer and launches it in left rotation. Destroyer charges at Kerbecs and sends it into the air and uses Gravity Brave again but the arrow scatters into smaller ones. He then uses his second special move, Black Excalibur, but it has no effect because Damian changed Kerbecs spin track to Boost Mode. Kerbecs continues to attack Destroyer and Julian starts to lose confidence, but Wales and Sophie enter the battle, causing Team Excalibur to be disqualified. Gingka, Masamune, Kenta, and Madoka are eating at a restaurant, talking about their plan for the final matches. Madoka believes that having a replacement member would increase the team's chances of winning and that Tsubasa and Yu would feel bad if the lack of a third team member became the cause of their loss to Team Star Breaker. Gingka and Masamune reluctantly see the truth of her words, and Gingka suggests Kyoya as an option, however they realize that they don't know where to find him. Kenta proceeds to propose himself, but before the team can settle on it, Team Wang Hu Zhong comes in with pork buns, inviting them to dig in. They explain to them that they had heard about their problem, and they ask if one of their members could possibly be the sub member. Kenta stands firm about his desire to be Japan's third representative for the final battle, so they decide to hold a bey battle to determine who will get the position. The four members of Team Wang Hu Zhong and Kenta begin their battle at the Bey Stadium, and Gingka and Masamune eventually join in as well, unable to hold themselves back, much to Madoka's annoyance. All seven of them start their Special Moves, but Phoenix suddenly interrupts the battle and knocks all of their beys out of the stadium. Phoenix hands his mask to Hikaru and explains that the replacement member for Team Gan Gan Galaxy had already been settled on: himself. Everyone is shocked at his announcement, Gingka being a little embarrassed as Phoenix is his dad. Hikaru objects, and points out that as the Director of the WBBA, Ryo isn't allowed to join the team according to the rule book. Kenta and Team Wang Hu Zhong are not allowed to join either because they participate in the tournament already. Suddenly, Blader DJ jumps in, stating that he has come to save them. American DJ appears too, and it is revealed that the two DJs will fight each other in a bey battle to determine who will get the rights to announce the final matches of the world championships. They start their battle and begin announcing as if it were extremely heated and intense. However they actually aren't very good at beyblading because their beys are simply wobbling in one spot. As the battle drags on, the two DJs continue to announce their battle's 'shocking moments', but everyone else just groans at the irony. The two DJs then commence a tongue twister contest to see whose mouth is the most agile and deserving of announcing the final battle. After their little competition, they see that their beys have started to slow down. They then decide to use their special moves to determine the winner with one hit. Blader DJ use his special move Blader DJ Scratch, and American DJ use his special move American DJ Crossfader. They make it out to be an enormous clash, but nothing really happened at all and the final result is a tie. They finally make the decision to announce the final battle of the World Beyblade Championships together. The two DJs make a public announcement about the final battle. Teams and people from all over the world are listening in anticipation.

Dr. Ziggurat tells Zeo that Toby's treatment will continue and that he can rest. Jack starts shaking, saying he wants to battle. Before the second round officially starts, Meteo L-Drago crashes into the stadium and starts circling around it, with Ryuga catching it. He challenges Jack to a battle and replaces Gingka. Masamune says he'll battle Jack, but can't because his arm is injured. He asks Gingka if they can trust him with the battle, and Gingka tells him Ryuga is strong. They launch their beys and both clash with each other. Jack has Evil Befall to continue attacking Meteo L-Drago. Masamune starts to get worry but Gingka tells him L-Drago can steal power and make it its own. Jack uses his special move, Befall The Ripper, but Meteo L-Drago dodges the attacks until Ryuga stops it and gets hit. Meteo L-Drago continues to spin and Jack makes Evil Befall attack and it starts to cut through the stadium. It makes a peacock on the stadium while attacking L-Drago and Jack uses his second special move, Beautiful Dead, to make Meteo L-Drago the peacock's eye. Jack names it The Full of Hot Air Dragon, Silenced By The Peacock. Meteo L-Drago then starts to spin faster from the power it stole from Evil Befall.
